Gd Ch Budweiser Crusher

Alright im getting tired of hearing this name. I will start talking dogs with people around my area and all i head is my dog is off some budweiser crusher stuff. What is the story on this dog and why the hell are people saying this name so damn much lol.

not sure why, but I"ve seen the name more recently, as well.

 

I myself don't run any Bud blood, but one of my best friends over at Razor Ridge Kennels has had the blood for over 10 years. Here is what I picked up from her:

Bud was a GR. CH. show dog & 1xw. He was also a Gazette cover dog. He was owned by an old-time dogman named Glenn Wise. Bud blood is very popular in Bud's home state of North Carolina as well as surrounding states. Bud was an "all-around" dog - a great family pet, super show dog & game as well. He produced more of the same, which may accound for the bloodline's rising popularity.

Also, from what I understand, Mr. Wise kept his Bud stuff fairly close to the vest. But he has recently passed away & his wife may have sold some of his stuff off to the public. This may also account for the recent appearance of more Bud dogs on the scene.

I'm with you on this one!!! Every random person who owns a pit bull in NC seems to have a budweiser crusher dog. Also refered to as bud crusher, blood crusher, southern bud crusher, budweiser can crusher, ect by jackasses who wouldn't even know what budweiser crusher looked like, or the fact that he was not named after a beer!!!!!!!!!! Fact of the matter is you will see a lot more poorly bred dogs that just happen to have budweiser crusher once in their 9th generation than decent bred stuff. Most of the well bred stuff seems to be crossed into Gr. Ch. Bullhill's red bullet stuff, Mr. Wise seemed to like this cross i've been told by people who knew him. They have correct conformation, good heart, and a willingness to please. I have some budweiser crusher bllod and will gladly take more whenever i can find it decently bred. This breeding was suggested by Mr. Faron to friend of mine. The male I got off this is turning into an awesome little pull dog, winning his class both days this weekend at the AADR show in taylorsville, NC with a best pull of 2500lbs, he weighs only 37lb. I have high hopes for the female i got also. Sadly more times than not people in this area who tell you their mutt is a budweiser crusher bred dog, are out numbering those who have good ones these days.

search and rescue ,, specific training .. for the job, hope to make
a show and pull soon maybe meet up with some of the crowd

Budweiser Crusher's ped was Bolio-Tombstone (top) and Red Devil-OFRN (bottom). He was a good, solid all around game dog. I met a dog man who used to live in the Carolinas and knew Micksel personally and he interacted with the dog on a few occasions. Said he liked what he saw. Both show n go!
