hey bullterr to address the original post, its a percentage draw wwith ANY breeding... sometimes ya hit sometimes ya miss.

its the luck of the draw with these dogs... and as far as doing breedings with the frozen sperm i'll have to agree with mac and blaze, how the semen is handled (from the freesin and thawing) you may lose s0me sperm,motility etc. but it DOES NOT CHANGE THE DNA OF THE SPERM OF THE DONOR by any means.

Looks like I'm not the only one with big Internet balls:rolleyes:.........and I picked up the phone plenty of times, if you'd read the fucking posts you'd know that. And since you want to talk prices, I gave $750 for the bitch, paid $250 for the flight, worked with her for several months, then spent $200 drivin the bitch back down there. Since you can't read I'm going to assume you can't add either......that's $1200 and 2 dogs and I'm still not satisfied and if I took a bitch back to him, I'd say he knows I wasn't very happy and don't think I didn't call about the broke leg or the wrong ped either.

 

To the guy who can judge a dog at one year old, you may want to stop buying dogs and do more research. I once owned a male off little frank. He was a playful puppy until about two years old. After that he was a total animal, one of the best I have seen. I am by no means an expert on dogs, but one of the first lessons I learned was to give a dog a little time. If I thought like you I would have missed out on owning a good one.

OK as far as the DNA goes why wouldn't tg put spikes DNA on profile like tabs DNA. that does sound a little funny. i once asked pat patrick if he would send sperm he said he doesn't mess with that stuff. now after he lost his yard he has some. not saying p Patrick doesn't but i wouldn't trust it.. and real sorry that i even mentioned Patrick any where close to garners name. pat Patrick had good dogs and would replace the ones that didn't work out for you, imo tg is a puppy peddling p.o.s. that would sell his sister if the price was right.

Mag, show me where in my post did I say I can judge a dog at a year old....... You can't. ALL I said was I wasn't happy with him. At a year I want to see some signs. Doesn't have to be hell on wheels, but I want to see something. He has no desire and no drive. Never said I was puttin him down. I'm sending him to a better dogger in hopes that he'll turn out and in return I'm replacing him with some high % stock. If you can show me as many good dogs from little frank as what I'm about to replace him with, I'll kiss your ass. Better yet, pm me if you........you know. I'm not sayin none of them are good, just that I didn't have any luck with it. Show me a dog from the little frank dogs worth 20 g's after two. Then down for two more. Show me a little frank litter that produced 100% with the whole litter throwin winners. And if he does turn out there, he'll be put to a cardenas bitch and I'll have a some hell a fide cross offspring.

YB i cant for the life of me understand why you went and got a pup from TG. Sounds like you don't agree with his breeding practices or character, why the hell would you go there in the first place? And if you had your pick with the second why didnt you go with El Negro?

 

TG used to use a transporter some of you may know his name,well he picked up my freinds dog who was a son of Simba. My friend said he was a scatter bred street hound. The trip ended up at TG's house and TG looked at the big brindle dog and asked if he was my freinds dog a son of Simba....he called fomer freind of his and asked what the son of Simba looked like cause if its him he is gonna sick him to a couple of his bitches and reg the litter under another dog.It was never done cause the other guy he called is very close to my friend and he said no he is a buckskin dog.

 

First of all you need to realize what you are buying. Most anybody who looks at the ped can see those little frank dogs he puts out were not bred to be world beaters. They were bred to pass on certain traits. Now as far as not judging the dog at one year, you said he wasn't showing signs you wanted. Sounds like judging to me. Now for showing you dogs that are such and such, I can't because I gave all mine the Walter K. treatment. I no longer have any.

 

And also if you have access to such great dogs why are you buying pups from the man.

 

Naus, I'm fresh in this........novice......not afriaf to admit it either. I have no problems with his good breeding practices, but he has more dogs than what's on his yard and I personally believe you gotta be somebody to get the good stuff. Yes I do have a problem with peddling pups from untested dogs. I got the first cause I didn't know anybody who had what I was looking for. The second to redeem the $$$$. And third will never happen. And that's just me. As far as el Negro, I should probably have went that route but he told me little frank blood would be better for a redboy cross which is what I've decided on.

By no means out of the begginers phase, but I know enough to know an inbred dog like that is for brood nothing more. That's why I'm sending him somewhere else. Feels like I'm repeating myself. He doesn't show what I want and probably never will. Now offspring from that cardenas bitch may or may not turn out but he's gonna have to earn his right. Art, I totally agree. If I had known a year and a half ago what I know now and talked to some of the people who have had a lot of ex. with his dogs, I never would have got the first one. Here's what I don't get: everybody says this breed isn't for everybody, you shouldn't peddle pups or you're a byb, get a poodle, get a lab, get a gold fish........do you guys really think TG is screening owners for pups from 16 fucking litters when he had 15 litters back in Jan ?????? He'd sell a dog to my great grandmother or anybody else with the $$$$$ so tell me how that is being responsible with the breed making sure they go to responsible people who won't make the news??? Anybody else breeds a couple dogs they get their shit jumped in quick for being a byb who just wants to peddle pups. He puts 31 litters on the ground this year alone and peddles the shit out of em to whoever can come up with the $$$ no questions asked and he's THE LEGEND. Fuck that.

 

imma have to agree totally with this statement, at the end of the day them 31 litters on the ground cant be good for the breed, flooding the roads with dogs sold to basically anybody is point blank irresponsible..
