I hear that, Lord knows I've got enough shit laying around to start a junkyard as well. I can get axles for free whenever I care, as well as barrels most the time. If you were closer, I'd just give em to ya.

I'll admit ur right just because I'm trying to do whats best for these pups because the ywere obviosuly and completely neglected and I don't want to deal with the negativity right now.

If u have any positive advice it's more than welcome

I would get some rice and ground beef or boneless chicken breast and feed them a bland diet for a few days.

It aint that cold yet,but if you got a crate and a fenced back yard.....throw a blanket or tarp over the kennel and put some bedding in it and call it a night. Dont let those pups chew your house up.I hope you have and are keeping them sepparated from your dog.Make sure to pick up after them....dont want to spread parasites to your dog.

I don't have a kennel for'em but I did place several comforters down and they got baths with some good flea and tick shampoo so hopefully that helped some. I also gave'em some "heartgard" since I got some laying around because I had bought it for a friend but he got rid of his dog and they fit the same weight. Since it's the first if the month i gave each pup the proper amount. My female has came in contact with them but it wasn't for long.
Their gums look healthy and theier teeth look good also. There's nothing wrong with their eyes and their coats immediately pop back after being strecthed so they're doing fine. They're just hungry. I'd guess and say they haven't eaten properly in a little over a week. I watch alot of animal planet so I know a few things to look for but I won't say I'm a professional because I'm really not claiming to be.

I admire your desire and kind heart, but inregards to the heartguard, the dogs should have been tested prior to giving it to them, in hopes for a negative test result. and yes, MOST definitly, keep them AWAY from your female for fear of the spread of parasites. (good advice)
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to simms again. (sorry)

    Best of luck with them.

I wasn't told they have to be tested before getting the heartgard. My previous vets told me to give it to my female monthly on the same date and they've never tested her. They just said to use them as preventatives, so that's what I've been doing with my female.

As for the good heart comment I appreciate it but I really don't know what I've gotten myself into, but taken care of these little pups is only humane in my book.

Thanks for that. U had me scared that I was doing something wrong but it's fine. They still have to go to the vet though for checkups. I just wish I knew their birthdates but oh well what can u do but guess. Thanks again.

Here's the deal. I've got some contacts around your area that might be able to take the pup & either foster them & put them up for adoption, or they might just keep them themselves. If you are willing, I'd like to send them the info & see what they say.

I would like to be the one to evaluate where they go and be able to keep close contact with them but if u I could let me have those numbers I'll call them and see what they have to offer the little guys.

Thanks for helping them out Mr. Biggs. If I had any to share, I would slip you a few dollars to help you get the stuff you need, but as of now with rent due this week. I am as broke as they come. Good luck to you guys!

Good luck with them, u have such a kind heart :)

I think that a nice chain set up would work with bedding and a dog house(whatever it is made from) Or ust a crate inside untill u get home.
Have u taken them to the vet yet?

hope you can find them homes but before you do anything with them get them to a vet a.s.a.p for a parvo snap.pups can have it and spread it for a week or more before you see symptoms, also even if your dog has been vaccinated there is a chance she can still catch it and it spreads VERY easily, pits are aslo prone to parvo.Good luck.

I like your style brother, wish we had more people like yourself around my neck of the woods, would deffinetly cut down on the crack head population.

Well a lady at work had her husband bring two metal 55 gallon barrels to me and I stuffed them with the comforters and I'm on my way to home depot to get the chain setup. They have so much energy and one of'em tore my jeans tugging on'em and then he started going for my shoes. It's the same one that was acting all scared of everything when I first picked hime up and brought him home. Now he's wild and goofy as ever and the other one is the just like'em. Crazy pups!

    Re: Excited but hurt *UPDATE*

    *UPDATE*
We gave the black brindle to my friend who's keeping him at his dads house with his other pit. The red brindle is basically going to be my yard dog although he comes inside a few times a day. He's gained alot of his weight back, but being that's it's only been a few days he's still got about a week or two or maybe more to be at his full potential. I'm feeding him "Nutro Lamb and rice" which he eats 2cups twice a day and loves it.

We decided to name him "Spook". Can't wait to show ya pictures
