Any other dogs off Glory Bee that made a name for themselves back in the day? Or even other dogs off Tom?

I was posting the dog show flyer and saw this post.
Glory Bee came from Chicago from Pat Bodzianowski who Floyd name Glory Bee after Pat's wife Gloria B.

Eli and Glory Bee produced Lamar Daniels' Ch. Tommy.
Tommy was bred to some Red Devil/Eli like himself and produced Barfield's aka Hopkin's Ch. Saloon.
Richard bred Ch. Saloon to another female from Devine stock of Red Devil/Eli bloodlines to produce Hopkin's aka Allen's Ch. Butch.

Richard took Ch. Butch and bred him to a female with some more of the Devine cross with a touch of Gr. Ch. Angus in her, Hopkin's Stripper (half sister off Ch. Saloon) and produced Dl. Gr. Ch. Toledo Tornado.

Thanx for that info. I was looking for any old story or info on them as my favourite South African dog of all time was a dog callec Gr.Ch. Trueblood & Pineman's PW. This dog was a cross of the RedBoy blood and Ch. Butch blood through Tant's David import (Gr.Ch. Yellow x Tan's Miss RedBoy) x Bell's Big Jane import. (Hoffman's Sundance x Boyd & Stevenson's Mad Maggie). Sundance was off littermate's Tally's Tex x Tally's Princess (Ch. Butch x Ch. Stripper). Mad Maggie was Ch. Butch x Stevenson's Egypt.
This type of cross also produced a monster named Ch. Sledge (Tant's David x Mad Maggie). But this was all back in the day.

I.M. were the saloon dogs any good as far as what he produced because the only one that made a name was tornado and i think all her sisters and brother quit.

I see her bro Tally's Tex was put up on a database as a 1xw. The cross of Yellow's son to the tight Saloon dogs produced some good dogs and the blood is still around here and relevant in South Africa. Although even here the Saloon blood was said to be rough curs. Seems like PW and his littersister put some nice ones on the ground and are still behind some of our more recent decent dogs. But these decent dogs have higher percentages of the Yellow blood than the Saloon blood.

Not as well as everyone hope for. Tally's Tex, Tornado's brother was a 2xw.Now here is one for the books the late Ron Stevenson was half owner on those dogs with Richard. Butch their father wasn't a recognized champion. He won 4, 2 for $200, 1 for $300 and 1 for $400. Late Ken Allen took Butch out for $3,000 and had to pick him up in 30. Back to Ron, after going into Saigon Kennels' Rouge, who quit in 31 minutes and Ironman told Doc those dogs off Miss Mickey you could set your watch by them stopping at 30. The late Frank Bunce was the ref. MRod kept the time. Well, when Ron Stevenson saw Butch and all the scares he wanted to see if he was ruined and Frank called the time keeper and he brought over his 8 year old champion off the his ROM dog to show Butch wasn't ruined. That same night he brought his champion, he also brought Smokin Brandy 4xw who stopped Tornado's sister in 14 then 45 minutes later stopped a second one that Ron and Richard brought along. Now here is the best part. Richard left Toledo with all the dogs. While staying at Doc's house, the late Ron Little in Battle Creek, Michigan, Stripper was being kept outside in front of Doc's house on Montford Street. The late Brian Goodson aka 2 Shoes of B & K Kennels went with the time keeper of Butch's show, and both saw Stripper fat and ready to have pups off a repeat breeding to Butch. When Ron Stevenson showed up they moved Stripper to an area North of Battle Creek called Bedford to the late Mike Ismirle's house and she whelped her pups. So that Ron Stevenson didn't know about this litter, they changed the mother's name to Kizzy, a Zebo bitch off a half brother and sister breeding. One of the pups became well known and her name was Road Block's Ch. Tater. You can read about Ken being upset and writing to SDJ about it all because when he bought out all the dogs he was suppose to get those pups too. Ken I believe knew the true breeding of Tater but Ken had already got Yankee Boys' Ch. Indy and had bred it to the stock and really like it.Jessie Boggs went to Toledo and got 6 from those fellows and they all quit in 10 to 15 minutes. So some where good, but a fair share wasn't. But the ones who were, were real good.

Thanx for the info C2K, I understand not mentioning anything that could be used against anyone still alive. Anything on Hoffman's Sundance (Tally's Tex x Tally's Princess)? Pm would be fine. People here said he was a cur, but never could show any proof. Not that it matters now because his grand kids are behind some good ones. Just interested.
