Just clicked on the link. My local feed stores have it cheaper, not sure if yours carry it. Yukon River cost me $47 with tax for the 30lb. I think this next trip I'm going to try the Ocean fish formula. It's not grain free but I'm going to give it a shot for the winter months. Take into consideration gas and time it might be worth it to you to order it and have it delivered. I pass the feed stores often so a trip is not out of the way.

I can't find it around here, so mail order is kinda my option, lol. I've heard a lot of good about this food, thanks, Treez!

  3. Feeding Victor high pro plus $55 for a 40lb bag, last about two months, I get it from Amazon

No problem, I think you'll like it. I haven't heard a bad thing about it yet. Just a fyi... There are feed stores around here who sell it but are not on Victor's dealer locator option so unless you've checked with the local places personally, I'd check them out. I'd bet they'd order it if they knew how many people would buy it. Best selling feed at the stores around here.

I like the Hi Pro Plus and it is not grain free. It used to cost me $40 for forty pounds when I lived in FL and $45 right now in NM. I had some problems when moving out here finding it and switched to the expensive stuff and my dog did worse on it. The higher fat content seems to help.

damn let me send you the whopper mutt. 2-2.5 weeks in the winter he's ate that. Our best bet with his 85-90lbs ass is pedigree in the winter. He eats 2-3x the amount of everyone else here.

Not including pups I go through a 40lb bag every 13 days, thats for 6 adults so 2 months for one or 2 dogs is pretty feasible if your feeding 2, maybe 3 cups a day.

Yea Treez ,I clicked on the link and I also thought it was much cheaper.I can get Victor but the nearest place is like 70 miles one way and they have it cheaper .About the same price as Diamond Naturals which is what I'm feeding.now if I drove the 70 and bought several bags at one time I guess it would be ok.But for same price as Diamond and I only drive a couple miles to get it ,I just haven't talked myself into the Victor .

I did some reading on it,I actually thought about opening like a small pet store just so they would ship it to me and I could feed it.Think they said you had to have a store, plus a dam website before they would let you become a dealer for them.Think a couple other things to.

To be honest, I don't think so, bama. They are only found in small feed stores and places like that and the feed stores around here who carry it don't have a web site. They're mom and pop feed stores with no site what so ever. I'm surprised you can't get it anywhere closer than 70 miles too.

  15. Lol yea just one, weighs 55 lbs at just under a year old, feeding 1 & 1/2 cups x 3 times per day with that being more like twice a day as of late

  16. Pic just for reference purposes, he's not in top shape but not a slob neither, dam Nebraska winters don't allow for much road work lol

In germany we have some food-companies that also make verry good dog foods, such as Wolfsblut for example. It is pretty similar to TOTW but the quality seems to be even better. They also have a huge variety of formulas.

I'm really impressed with the winter blend I'm getting! A lot of people with hunting dog's around this area, probably 60% use it. I once asked the owner what brand it was he said my brand!!! So I guess he's keeping his cards close to the vest! I actually feed less and my dogs look great!! Cheaper than Hi Pro when bought in bulk like two hundred pounds the price gets real low!
