Can you put up a picture? Are you saying her vulva is swollen? If so that's normal and nothing to be alarmed about. A picture of what your talking about would help.

L-dog don't spay your dog until you see a vet if your that concerned something is wrong. Put up a picture and let us see what your talking about. How old is the dog? Is this her first heat? Has she ever had a litter of pup's before? If so how many litters has she had? How regular are her heats? Any other unusual symptoms such as discolored discharge or foul smell coming from her vulva? Dogs can have prolapses but I would want to see an actual picture before I assumed that it was something serious.

That is your best bet I wouldn't spay her until she saw a vet it could be completely harmless let us know what the vet says.

This is what a prolapse looks like is this what you are seeing? This is actually a pretty bad prolapse there are different stages for prolapses....

The picture of above is of a prolapsed uterus If she didn't just give birth to a litter which at 11 months I hope she didn't. I would highly doubt she has a prolapsed uterus. But yeah please see the vet. There are also other types of prolapses a vet can check everything out and make sure everything is in place. Good luck to you and the pup.

You need to take the dog to the vet ASAP as this requires surgery and treatment to make sure an infection doesn't set in from the sounds of it your dog is in the beginning stages of a prolapse which means the uterus is not fully outside the dog. But again I am only going off what you are describing. I am not a vet but I do have an idea of what it could be.

Read this and then call the vet and make an appointment to the vet first thing

Ok well best thing is to get her to the vet let the vet look at her and he/she will tell you if there is a prolapse but if you are saying that it looks like the picture I posted only smaller I can almost bet that is what it is and this is nothing to play around with she needs a vet ASAP.
