Depends on the temperment of the dogs being inbred upon.

I don't think being to heavily inbred would directly affect temperament. I think some dogs are just off and too much inbreeding might be a cause. I had a dog from a bro/sis breeding who was a sweet girl but she seemed a little slow, just kind've off. Now a more aggressive dog like that might be more unpredic

what about pure game bred dogs around kids, even if aise with tons of kids around it, i need honest opinions, need the proper info before i bring a dog like that to my home, and the dog will spend minimal time in the house will be a outside dog, and worked out heavily

Do some more research. Pick up some books, get around some more dogs. If you're unsure about animals being around your children then you shouldnt just take someones word for it on a forum and go get the dog. There are to many answers for this question, mostly regarding the dogs ancestry. Any dog is a roll of the dice, if the dice are loaded in your favor or not depend on the dogs genes. Your kids and the dog have to have boundaries though, doesnt matter how the dog is bred or what he was bred for. Accidents happen but are always preventable.

this is true i have been studying for the past four months, books videos forums, everything tells me its about upbringing, and prevention, i have a pit pup now and i watch her with my son everyday, i correct my dogs bad behavior towards him and i correct my sons bad behavior towards her, im buying a new house with a big yars, and i am keeping them outside(the dogs of course not the wife and kids) working the dogs out hard everyday cause im a athlete i work my pup right now she is sleepin as we speak lol but like i said ive read all the good and the bad, i dont leave my pup alone with my kid now and would never leave him alone with any other dog not even a lil one

You need to find dogs that have the temperament and personality you desire.

If the dog is gonna be around your kid and you have any doubt at all then that should have already answered your question.

  11. Sounds to me like you should get a cat

If the line is inbred on a line that is known for producing H/A dogs then one will come in a litter every so often.Just what i've seen.

A well bred game dog is what you want....period.they are the most stable, confident, intelligent, loyal etc.Game dog does not equate to crazy.sure some are but well bred bulldogs will do just about anything for you...they tend to be great with kids...of course there are always exceptions. You don't want a back yard shit breeder.you don't want anything but the best IMO.The dog that is bred by someone that knows what they are doing and there is no doubt what you have.....breeders who watch what they do are trying to get the very best out of their stock....they care.
