I have recently been watching a few clips of a comedian called Reginald D Hunter and came to find out that he had also done a 3 part documentary series("Sounds of the South")based upon music, so I thought I'd share it.

This is Volbeat and if I am not mistaken they are Sweedish but don't quote me on that , u can look that up if interested.They do a few old southern , blues country songs.This is a old Hank Williams song .Lead singer slicks his hair back like Elvis lol.I like Volbeat its something different and fresh .My point is even people from other countries like the old music from the south.

Yeah I am liking that Bama, I'll be checking out a few more of their songs. A while back now, I was surprised to learn that Ice T had co-founded a heavy metal band Body Count, but suffice to say, their sound contains a bit too much MENTAL for my liking.....lol.

Fortunately, music is color-blind.....

I bought a Body Count Album on cassette over 20 years ago, from a car boot sale (flea market equivalent), It had Cop Killer, Evil Dick and a few other classics lol.

 

not a documentary but these guys were in Sheffield, England a year or two ago for the Tramlines Festival. Never got to see them but I looked them up at the time and added a few to a playlist.
