5 puppies were born on Monday and lived until Friday. Friday 4 puppies died. I noticed they weren’t gaining weight from nursing on mom so I fed them formula starting Tuesday-Wednesday. They all drank formula fine 1cc per oz of weight but then they got weak and died faster than I could get a tube feeder.

the last puppy kept drinking formula from the bottle and was fat and happy but then her poop started to smell really bad and then she wouldn’t drink the milk, she stared to cry none stop I tube feed her and gave her puppy support dogzymes and she kept getting weaker regardless and died. She lived to be 1 week 1 day old.

anyone know what happened? Or can anyone post the page of the book that talks about something similar. Thanks in advance!

The description of the shit makes me think parvo but there are a million reasons pups can fade off and die the first week. I'd have the mother checked first. Could have mastitis could be eclampsia etc. Make sure her milk is good etc. Personally I'd of been at the vet by the time the 2nd one was fading. Once you notice symptoms in pups that age it's usually going to be too late to save them on your own. They tend to just continue to go downhill even after you've intervened. Take the bitch to the vet and let them check her over. If your really wanting to know what happened take a pup to them to do a necropsy.

I called every vet near me and no one offer necropsy, I will take the mom to get that checked out but even though they were on formula does mom milk still affect the puppies. They drank from her for 2 days max and that’s if she even had any.

If she has bad milk it is an uphill battle that we seldom win.

Most vets do not offer the necropsy. Usually you have to contact a vet school/college.

Like AGK said I would have the mom checked.

Do I take her in and just ask them to run blood work or what specific test should I ask them to do on mom?

Just tell them exactly what you told us. They'll know what test to run depending on what they feel the actual issue is. Bloodwork is a good start.
