as for hitting your dog i pretty much agree "thats fucked" unless it attacked me or another person. i mean i can see it hunkered down on another dog and trying my best to no avail to get it off. i could see freaking out not knowing what to do... but i think i would beat the other dog to death first if it started it never mind attacked me first and my dog was just protecting me!!!

You'll be sanding for a weeks if you don't use a bench grinder! The first stick Iv'e ever made was done with just paper. It took a week to make!
It takes about 10 minutes on a grinder and another couple minutes fine smoothing with some paper!
I use hatchet handles. They got that perfect angle that I really like.

 

umm pardon my ignorance... but how do you USE a break stick? and I'm asking because Sasha is not DA or any other animal for that matter. been around countless pitbulls and bullies and boxers and not so much as a low growl from her. but then again i dont let her too far away from me either.

 

You wedge it in the dogs mouth while it has its hold and when it trys to re-adjust its hold, you pull the dog back. DO NOT try and pry your dogs mouth open with it

i figured that much.. i am a carpenter/building contractor so i have all the tools needed. thanks though for the heads up. also the tip on not prying open the mouth seems like a very important piece of info, wedge wait to reposition and pull! good info thanks! hope i dont ever have to use it!

 

This is not an attack on her. She is a sweet girl. However there are people who drool over these types of things. And can turn it around via the media. So we as "pit bull" owners need to be more diligent then the average owners.

We all have had yard accidents. However it is nothing to brag about how much damage your dog did on a public forum. Now the other thread was going that way. Yes lets just fuel the stereotype that all "pitbull" owners and their blood thristy desires.

I also agree that this breed is not for every one. But come on people be smart. Lets just fuel BSL. Do not think for 1 moment these boards ar not monitored by people that want to eradicate this breed.

If some POS came runnin in my yard trying to attack me and one of my dogs tore it's ass up YOU'RE FUCKING RIGHT I'D BRAG ABOUT IT!!!!!! and that mutt never would have made it out of my yard with a breath in it's lungs!!! Sure wouldn't have hit my dog though. Might of jumped up and down on the other mutts rib cage why my dog had it pinned down then when it quit moving put 2 holes in it just to be sure it didn't move again. What's wrong with you people?!?!?!? The dog did what it's supposed to and you jump on her for telling about???? WTF???

 

The dog is a damn hero. She was contained in her own yard and did nothing wrong. She protected her owner from a human aggressive dog. It should be talked about.

 

If I had two mutt pups scrap like that and I handled it the way she did I would not tell a soul.Let alone tell the www with pictures that look somewhat altered.

The thing there is a bigger picture. This is a world wide site. Anyone can access this and we have to take those things into consideration.
