ok so i just adopted a pitbull on 10-29-09 she's 1.5yo and loves to go to different places, but theres a big problem; she gets car sick i think on a drive from orlando to daytona she throw up about 3 times in the car. shes not a stranger to being in the car, in fact if i leave the windows down she hops in if i walk away.

i wanted to know how can i over come this car sickness without drugs, but if i have to use a drug is dramamine ok? and how much for about a 1hour car ride?

i think i may have found my answer but can anyone else confirm this

    Usual Dose and Administration
Dogs: 2-4 mg/pound by mouth every 8 hours. Cats: 12.5 mg per cat by mouth every 8 hours. May have fewer side effects if given with food.
