Bulldog lover

Hello members of this great forum,
First off I have alot of respect for the APBT, the game and the dogmens that have carried on such a remarquable breed throughout the years. Thanks. I have owned bulldogs for the past 15 years.

I signed up on this forum because I have a passion for the ABPT breed and I am ready to take it a step further.

I want to raise, show, compete, condition and breed the next champions in Europe.

I am looking for tips, advices and ideas to conduct my small training facility.

What sort of competition are you breeding your dogs for. Fighting, athleticism, weight pulling, etc?

 

Fighting is illegal la!

 

That is exactly why i am asking. I am perfectly against fighting for the sake of money, tho i am fine with matching males to see which ones is better quality and which one should breed

Forum member F.W.K. posted a article on weight pull that is the best weight pull information I have seen and I have been doing it for a couple years now. If its something your into its worth a read and take notes.

 

Id argue that besides running with heavily weighted vests, weight pulling is the best exercise to develop musculature in the dog since it targets each and every mucle group in the body, courtesy of being a bipedal animal.

Never said matching for free, but the breeding stud would only have to be matched once, not multiple times as you would expect from real fighting dog.

 

hello again, this is what i look for in a registered gamebred APBT : high energy, hyper activity, friendly, intensity, prey drive, athletisme, good mouth and gameness (I think others do too). This is a hobby that i love, i don't and will not promote any illegal acttivities.
