Rockdale County officials are eexpected to discuss a new ordinance this Monday. These are some quotes from the article:

"We started working on some rough drafts last year," County Commission Chairman Roy middlebrooks said Friday. " One was a BREED-SPECIFIC ordinance and the other was a dangerois-dog ordinance. This new draft kind of combines the two"

Among other regulations, the proposed law would require owners to obtain permits to own certain breeds of dogs that have been declared dangeroous-"that way we can keep up with were they are." he said.

The draft will be part of a regular work session MONDAY morning between county commissioners and staff.County Legal Affairs Director Holly Bowie and county attorney Marvin Hawkins will present the draft to the board, and if approved, it would be adopted at an upcoming Board of Commissioners meeting.



i am not the most savy person when it comes to legal stuff and i dont know what i can do but alert others.the article did not mention the APBT but the picture with the article was of a Pitbull which the article says was one of three dogs that were loose and attacked a lady and killed two of her dogs. The other two dogs were not shown but the pitbull made front page.This sounds and looks like a BSL attack under the cloak of a "DANGEROUS DOG ORDINANCE"
