    The high today is around 95 with heat index of 110. The dogs don't want to move their eyeballs its so hot! Everyone keep a close eye on your dogs. They will be panting hard and will seem to have problems walking and are not able to get to shade. Last year I pulled two out of it by cooling them with a waterhose and getting them out of the sun. Water, water, water make sure if they have nothing else they have plenty of water. dont forget your dog does not sweat and needs shade and maybe some soft dirt to dig down in to keep the paws cool it helps cool them. Some dogs don't understand shade and may have to be put in it to save them. Some dogs are just dumb and stay in it till they die but life will go on. Thanks everyone and GOOD LUCK with the heat this year.
