#bama might need your help

    I guess we could go on and on actually one upping with each post.

    It sounds eerily similar. The guy that did my walk thru started the day I was born. I was 32 when I was hired and he was looking forward to being able to choose Christmas off in the coming years. I was on the bottom for five years before the next person was hired.

    I did seniority this week for next year's vacation schedule. My Lead just went over 15 years. His back-up is just over 13. The next 9 operators have yet to reach the year mark and the two front runners are probably done after their raise is $2 short.

    Odds are we start over for those two spots next week or the week after. For every 8-10 that come thru the temp service we get maybe 1 keeper and these two that I am losing are like 1 in 20.

    The huge red flag for us is that now there are far too many inexperienced people on the floor. We can't train them all so we show them enough so they can contribute. Once they can contribute, they become the primary 'trainer or shower' to the next guy hired.

    That is a very slippery slope.
