    my fav bitch is gr ch holly saw like 2 or 3 or hers and her ability and smarts were second to none she didnt have a crocodile mouth like bad rosemary but she could close it.

    on that note saw bad rosemary finish one in 11 mins with one hold but before her one hold she was just trying for that one hold...... made me think she was one dimensional and made me question her ability but she wreck you fast but having a super hard mouth and questionable ability is not what i would consider for baddest of all time.
    For me baddest had to be the complete package and holly from what i saw was that......also saw rosemary in her lost she was a game dog.

    Gr.ch.shady lady without a doubt. ..none of those other dogs won two contract matches in one night...and none ever killed a dog in 11 minutes..shady lady was on a down dog in 6 minutes and a dead dog in 11 minutes had to be broken off with break stick and scratched into a dead dog..clearly a finisher the whole package..she was so fast like a buzz saw in the pit she would go straight foul pick the dog up in the air like it was a feather then drive to the corner and shake the dog like a rag ,slamming the dogs head in the corner walls. totally disorientating the dog then she would drive to next corner doing same thing again..then she would go from foul to the stifle crippling the dog then she would go to the throat killing the dog...has to be seen to be believed. .I have seen lots of great dogs but she was the best I ever saw go..and what a producer we had a three legged dog we called peg leg cause shady lady would eat legs off puppy's anyway he would smoke any male brought over. .people used to bring dogs over all the time and peg leg would send them down the road one hell of a mouth..we had amother female sister to peg leg called shady black...matter of fact the dam to Clint black...she stopped so many dogs but we never matched her she was a carbon copy of shady lady...

    I would like to have anyone name me the most famous 25 bitches of all times. Then, I'd like them to go through those 25 bitches and tell me which ones were famous because of how game they were.

    You're not going to find many. I sometimes wonder if this is one of the reasons percentages of game dogs is a little lower than it might be. Take a look at your lists. You'll find almost all of those bitches are famous from being terrible.

    I do know of a scant few terrible bitches that eventually had to show some gameness......but I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut (That may be an even bet nowadays) that they were famed for being terrible BEFORE that happened.

    To me baddest and best are a little different when I describe something. Since the thread is titled baddest I will go with Shady. She and one other bitch was the baddest I've seen. I look at Tornado a little different and I don't know about Queen or Molly.

    True, Bru. But there are more than a few males known and famous for their gameness. Not so true with the girls. Just something I've noticed for quite awhile. The game is still on. Like to see those lists. If 25 is too many, try 15 to 20. It's just for fun.

    At first glance I thought the list would come to me if I thought about it long enough, but your question is one that I cannot answer honestly. I've known and seen some truely game females but they surely were not famous. What really strikes out at me is that I feel the females are just as, if not more, important than the males. Great observation on your part and thank you for sharing.

    No I definitely see your point TDK. It got me thinking for sure. Plenty of famous males known just for gameness! Not the same for the females is it. Hell I can remember a game plug female that I fed for ten+yrs and never bred her. I let a friend take her to his yard, breed her to one of his Boudreaux studs, and give her and a pup back after they whelped. Only litter she ever had. But yrs earlier I started my yard with a game plug stud just like her. Makes no sense. lol

    Ricky taped gr.ch.lady's mouth shut and 3 dogged her so she was game not to many like that..I saw her on a down dog in 6 minutes and kill her in 11

    Keep in mind, I'm not saying a bad ass bitch can't be a game bitch. I'm also not saying a game bitch must be a plug. Some game bitches have had a little bad ass in them, too. The key to this game is to realize, I hope, that nearly all famous bitches were and are famous because of their being bad asses. And it's very difficult to find very many that are famous BECAUSE of their gameness.

    The list won't come about for a couple of reasons. One 'a truly game brood bitch' is worth her weight in gold. Where as a 'truly game stud dog' is a dime a dozen. You may not have the truly game male, but the guy down the road does and for a few dollars you can own some of him too. Does not work that way with females.


    Secondly, a truly game bitch will never be remembered for her performance career, only her production career. No matter the topic, baddest bitch or best bitch or gamest bitch the topic will always lead to her production career. And for whatever reason, if she did not produce in a grand fashion that takes away from her performance career in the eyes of the masses.


    For me, Molly Bee is the baddest bitch of all time and could arguably said the baddest bulldog of all time. She won 8 matches with three of them handpicked to beat her. In 8 matches nothing ever scratched back to her. I have yet to read or hear about another bulldog, male or female, to win 8 over exceptional competition and nothing ever being able to make their first scratch. That is complete and utter dominance.


    With that said, there was OK success when bred to Snooty by way of Ch. Red Lady. There were a couple of dogs that were better producers than performers when bred to Caesar. Her being stolen factors in because that is pretty much the end of her known production career.


    Honeybunch won four, but produced out the ying yang, and according to people who were there, her last scratch on #4 may or may not had a little push. No one ever talks about her as a performer only as a producer.


    Jeep is world renowned for his epic battle with Homer. Then followed by a brilliant production career. His production career outweighs his performing career. People soon forget he won 4 over really good dogs.


    This years DOY will go down as one of the baddest for a short while and then one of two things will happen. He will be a producer and people will forget about being the baddest or he will not produce and that lack of production will lessen his performing career.


    Happens to both males and females, but females it is a lot more severe. S
