Are LAR-SAN / ROKIRED dogs APBT or AM STAFF...

I think you should call it what it's registered as.

 

Please explain why you think that...this 1 is gonna be good

 

Has any breed been added into either the APBT or American Staff?

 

Dave Wilson has admitted to more than one person he crossed his dogs. as for what he used i'm not sure. as for calling them whatever they are registered as, that obviously can create problems if you are calling something an APBT that isn't. it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. just plain common sense here.....

Genetically what is an American Staff? Genetically what is an APBT? Was any blood added to create the American Staff?

 

D Wilson created the Razorsedge line... this is not the line in question on this thread. So why does it matter what he crossed in? It is unethical to cross in other breeds and hang papers and then call the dog a purebred. But for lines with nothing crossed in and have been bred off of game lines as the Lar-San line was than what changes the history?

 

...because 98% of RE and Gotty dogs are still registered as APBTs. you just said call it what the paper says. hell, i could register my ball python as an APBT if i wanted. you shouldn't put stock into what a piece of paper says. i like to look at the man/woman behind the dogs instead. i really could care less if my dogs were registered or not just so long as i knew who bred them.

 

Hells bells I will give credit where it is due.. In your other thread you made an accurate statement and I acknowladged that....but come on,that was a dumb ass statement... If you breed away from purpose you will eventually get another breed of dog.. Open your mind and you will see what people mean...

 

sometimes it is better to let people think you are ignorant than to open your mouth and remove all f*cking doubt. you really need to just sit back and keep reading and do a little less posting until you are more educated on the subject. i am willing to bet there are lots of dogs that are called and registered as Am Staffs that are not of pure stock, i.e. crossed with another breed. seems like a lot of shady shit goes on with papers and what not in the UKC and AKC. the only way to do business is to do good business. AN ASSLOAD OF PEOPLE HAVE SEEMINGLY FORGOTTEN THIS.....:mad:

 

I see the point Smith made. Why don't registries do more to ensure that mutts don't get through? If it's so easy to register anything than why wouldn't I be able to get "papers" for either of my unregistered dogs? I wouldn't be unethical like that, there is no reason for me to do so. I always thought that a dog had to have registered parents to be registered. I understand the point now. I didn't before I made the original post.

 

I was asking the questions so I can become educated. How does anyone learn without asking questions?

if you read the posts a little more closely you would not have had to ask the particular question you did. not that asking questions is bad, but this isn't that cut and dry

 

i would never give a "how to" but it's pretty damn easy to do. the registries are a business, they are out to make money, besides what can they do? hire inspectors to go to everyone's yard and see what they're doing? it was always based on trust....those puppy peddlers could give a f*ck less about the integrity of this breed. i doubt the registries support paper hanging but they aren't exactly capable of doing much about it either, they will keep on printing them papers all day long and taking people's money and the world goes round and round.

 

I don't know much about registries. I have always gotten dogs from the pound or freebies.

Even if you did call me to the pit.. I wouldn't go in there to be insulted further.

These registries are businesses..I don't register my dogs but I could easily register dogs for friends or any joe schmo with a couple of dollar with the applications I have... And its not that I don't like you,its just that I don't like most of your post as I'm sure its folks on here that don't like my posts. Just try to keep a open mind.. Most people aren't gonna knowingly give you false info...

Marty is shutting down the pit for a reason, and threatened to shut down the site for a reason and I believe it's because of people like you.

 

i couldn't give two shits about what you have to say if i tried to. and people like YOU are the reason we face BSL and discrimination. people who have no business owning these dogs go out and get TWO!!! so, to each their own. and as much as i like this site, my whole world does not revolve around it. if this site were to close there are others. and the other ones would never let someone like YOU participate in any discussions or even be a member, so what's better in the end? i'm done talking to you. i'm sure that ought to please you.
