i like how heavy that bottom half is with the rascal, as for the top, i never had much success with the lukane stuff i had, but that top half brings alot more of the direct mayday blood to the front so with as tight as the top is on the mayday and bottom with the rascal that should make for 1 hell of a breeding

Yeah that heat sucks. I'm fortunate to have my whole yard shaded with trees. Had a buddy of mine lost a dog yesterday the 103 degree heat.

The first Busenbark dog I ever owned was off Barney Rebel/Irene 2. We've had some off Crib and some off Haze. The Crib dogs were the best dogs I'd seen from Don over the last decade. Saw two multi winning daughters, and they left zero to be desired. Don's dogs were foundational dogs for some good yards over the two decades I've seen them.

Black Jack makes a good cross to those dogs if you ever need to try a cross.

 

I know I for damn shore like the stuff ive seen bred down from youre dog. Good stuff.

 

Ive crossed some mine with a heavy frisco female and it turned out really rough and still had alot of bottom

DB once *sold* me a popeye dog that was stone cold and had luxating patellas, but I aint mad at him- that guy is a hoot!
