There have been deep game, proven dogs (in previously observed circumstances) that quit pretty rank against some serious hard mouthed killers. There have also been dogs that previously quit that went on to show incredibly game, even so far as to giving it all while doing so. Gameness is a strange thing that can't always/shouldn't be put in the absolute category. So both sides of this argument can be correct depending on certain experience and points of view. That is my opinion at least.
This might/ will mostly fall on deaf ears as many see gameness through different mindsets and also through only preconceived notions, or what they imagine it to be. That is ok.

We should all applaud and respect any and all demonstrations of gameness in its many forms and try to understand it for what it is. It is truly remarkable.

I'm not saying there's no such thing as a dead game dog but u can still make them quit under the right circumstances

My point is what diff conditions will it take? What could be worse than getting killed. A dog can be in no worse condition than on the last scratch of its life

For instance I seen a dead game dog sick and in poor health not scratch would defend himself but wouldn'tinitiate that later in a show proved he was deadgame

Abernathy wrote a paper on all the cold broods that produced and produced some more. I'm new to forum not dogs. Just looking over past threads.
