Lol well, your asking a loaded question. My top 10 won't be your top 10 or someone else's top ten. There's no way to verify best. It's subjective.

If I had to give one it would be
    1. Me
    2. Me
    3. Me
    4. Me
    5. Me
    6. Me
    7. The guy with the Geach dogs
    8. AGK
    9. Me
    10. Myself.

If anyone's list don't replace Me with Their name then they don't like their dogs very much.

You have a point, although funny, I will go a bit deeper (translates to babbling).....

I give credit where credit is due but listing a Top 10 or naming who has great dogs is the first step to abandoning your plan/jumping ship and starting all over with the flavor of the month.

Everyone is a better breeder than me so I can't put me in the list. And not that I am riding up and down the road these days like a crazy person but there was a time when I hoped Don Mayfield was on the other side of the box (take your Top Ten and fill in the blank).

Mostly because if I didn't 'think' I had the best 37 male in the world when I left home I would simply knock the dog in the head, send the money in the mail and save myself the time and gas money of a long ride.

I think everyone should vote themselves #1 until someone shows them different and from there look for the Top Ten to make small adjustments not wholesale changes.

  5. Back in the early 80s I asked A Guerrero who has good dogs he replied " everyone I know has good dogs."

Also, there would probably be more responses if it were in English. These people aint Google translating that. Lol.
    Then again, I did. =))

If you go back far enough sure, Lil Fatal is heavy Mayday, but I would describe him more as a Machobuck Yellow dog....2 outstanding lines that yes were based on Mayday. Fatal is bred pretty tight on those 2 lines and of course looks fantastic/ I love Mayday and had a great dog off his son 25 years ago, but Mayday isn't really a line that is producing anymore, in fact most would say he was waaaay overbred.

On the Bottom is the Gaechman line which I don't know a lot about, and AKG is pretty quite about. I have been out of the dogs for a while and I only know about the WCC dogs which were great, but that was a long time ago. If you go back further you will see the Thrift Bull Boy Bob dogs which of course were legendary but again, ancient history. Everything is so underground today, for good reason as most people like sleeping in their own bed and not a prison cot that you aren't going to get accurate answers on a public forum. I also think the type of people associated with these dogs have changed.

Many, many years ago I had a mentor you informed me of everything going on, and we became great friends, but I have no such relationship today. I used to be able to get fantastic dogs, but as of now I do not have any such connections. 25 years ago I would simply let people see who I was, what kind of person I was, see if I had integrity, and the doors would open, but that does not seem to work for me anymore. Times have changed.

Maurice was a pimp and murderer, Tudor was a hustler, bootlegger, and would do anything to make a buck...

The dog game through the 80s to early 2010s was fueled by the cocaine trade. In the 70s ppl were shot in the head and left in ditches after shows... arguably one of the greatest to stand over a mutt was a coke dealer turned snitch

This sport has always been full of hustlers, killers, pimps, liars and peddler

Translation: I agree. I also don't understand this age of social media. Times have really changed.

You probably asked your question because you are looking for a dog. As has been said, you will never get a direct answer on a public forum. Like I said, if you really want to get a good dog you need to develop a relationship with a knowledgeable person. It is of course harder to do that in todays age. I find that if I have a good relationship with the man I get a good dog. If the relationship is not good the dog is not good.

Many years ago, I built a phenomenal relationship with Gary, the owner of Huanch. I opened myself up honestly so that Gary could see what kind of person I was. At that time I was working on my doctoral degree and was well known in the MMA community. I was also going through a tough divorce. I was completely honest about who I was. You need to do that so that the breeder can see what kind of person you are and decide if they want you to have one of their dogs. I bred to Haunch and got a great dog.

Years later, I was looking to get 2 dogs and hopefully start a breeding program. I called up Evolution kennels and simply did not like or trust the person and chose not to buy a dog from him, even though the peds were phenomenal ( he had dogs right off Machobuck back then) and I had the money to spare. I built a relationship with RDK, we hit it off and I got a bitch that I really liked from him. She had a soft mouth but was game and had a phenomenal personality in every other respect. I bought another dog, a son of Champion Crazy legs. I had some reservations about Bobby, but bought the dog anyway. The dog had phenomenal ability, bit like an alligator, but had other qualities I did not like so I need up not breeding them.

Again, the better the relationship, the better the dog. A few weeks back I started to think I wanted to get back in, so I joined this forum. I met someone that I liked who is doing a breeding I am interested in. I sent him a link to my FB and IG page so that he could see what kind of person I am and if I am the type of person (I would describe myself today best as a father and a husband) who he would like to have his dogs. I sent him PM's and have not gotten a response. I can only assume that I am not the type of person he wants owning his dogs. We have not built a relationship and thus I will probably not be getting a dog from his breeding.

This is only my opinion. Maybe you can buy a good dog without building a relationship, but I have found that not to be true for me.

    Hope this helps.

    quindi sto cercando uomini seri.
sei stato molto gentile e disponibile. grazie

Outstanding, well-bred mayday dogs are still abundant and thriving if you know where to look. I live under a rock and know 0 dog people, but I found em. Ain’t dropping names or references, don’t ask.

anyways, to answer the OPs question…
