As we all know the breeds history is intertwined. None is more valid, better or worst through the evolution of time. They are simply related therefore their essence is the same. I view it as originating in the UK and preserved in the USA then progressed worldwide....(two handlers and two dogs looking for the truth. I don't have an issue with the uk, or any other country with these animals. I'm positive there is good dogs in all the countries that have them. But facts don't care about feelings. These are not the bull baiting dogs that got put on each other(with no related rules of today) just like those aren't the dogs who were put on men and animals in Rome, just like those weren't the first 2 domesticated dogs some ancient ppl put on each other.

The facts remain the dogs of today, the sport of today, and all the history of the apbt are from America. If anyone else had a gamer breed of dog our dogs, rules, conditioning, founders wouldn't been what the world came looking for.

What’s wrong with small sized dogs? What do you call ideal size? It’s not inbreeding that causes a line to get smaller and become red nosed but rather a lack of selectivity when breeding. Because of the situation here smaller black nosed dogs are safer to own. 90% of the dogs seized are red nosed 40lb plus sized dogs. PM me his ped.

That again is bullshit, interbreeding does make smaller dogs. It did it with the black dogs hence men have our crossed fro 100s of years. Ideal size for me is 35-45 everyone is different. As I stated before my dogs will stick to a task but for the last few years lost there mouth and finish. Again I wouldn’t breed a dog because of the colour of his nose. If your breeding to hit a looks standard your missing the point. Should be breeding for performance and that’s it. If your worried about which dogs get taken and consequences i would say these dogs aren’t for you

 

No one disagreed I said the breed was refined in the US but let’s be honest there are plenty of countries making a lot of noise and breeding some dam good dogs from Mexico, South America in general, Philippines and all over Europe. No one really cares about the history if you live in the past you’ll stay there look at the last ten years of DOY you’ll see how quality dogs are all over the globe and US isn’t the only stronghold
