I will chime in on a topic that means absolutely nothing to nothing about nothing....(but in the dogs are the very best topics, LOL)

HC who recently passed saw the Jeep/Homer match and had dogs down off Jeep from prior to the show. He always said Homer was not Homer as a replacement and that he did not think Jeep would not have taken what he gave. He also said the 3:45 was always misleading because the nostalgia and impact on history suggested it was an action packed 3:45. He said there were several occasions where it looked like it would have been and should have been a draw as neither dog had much left to give (rightfully so after 2+ hours and still going)

He also said Honeybunch was pushed out of her corner on her last scratch on #4 and luckily for her (and the rest of the game/fraternity) the other bitch stood on her turn.

He also said that his Jeep dogs pre-Homer match could not bite but after the Jeep match the Jeep dogs could really shut it down. He always said that there was no Jeep post-Homer.

He also said Red Boy made the Jocko strain relevant because the Jocko dogs were front running curs. If they got to the back end they finished but if they didn't they would hang it up. The Red Boy added 'stay' so they could eventually get there. He also said that if FC had more than a $100 to his name Jocko would have been the most famous dog ever. Jocko was rough, yet slick and when he got there it was over. He said when Jocko got in the ass it was like Ric Flair locking in the figure four. It was simply over. The fat lady was singing.

He also said he drove he drove his "first Pitbull/first off the line/serial #0001 motorcycle from NC to Sturgis and on the way back 7,000 Mexican bandidos asked him to ride point on the ride home. He led 7,000 Mexican bandidos from Sturgis to Kentucky where they turned south and went to Mexico and he continued on to NC. This was obviously before Google maps and GPS and maybe it was hard to read a Rands-McNally map while riding. I don't know, but he said a lot of things.

His stories were like walking up to a well stocked bar.....pick your poison.

Yeah what's amazing is you go back to the 1800s early 1900s and reduce Match eports it went 3 hours and 50 minutes?

Maybe but we will never know this, we didnt have seen this dogs with our own eyes, but we know the difference between this two dogs. I will not say Jeep is better dog or Jocko. I cant say that. They were both ace dogs in their time’s.They were that good we still talk about this dogs but i know one thing for sure. This could be the show where we could see their real gameness. if Jocko and Jeep could meet each other in 4x4. Maybe Jocko could test Jeep’s real gameness or maybe Jeep could test Jocko’s Will!
