I like a lot of his music. But god damn 50 and you still fucking around with coke. He knew better and his family paying the price.

 

Earl Simmons overcame so much adversity in his life. I understand part of it. I understand addiction. It never let's up. In 54 now I've been fighting it since i was 11, by the age of 14 I had a needle hanging out of my arm shooting delioded. K 4s . As well as a drug called tea. I understand addiction. B.B. it can be arrested but not cured...

 

Earl was raised as a child in a very abusive home. . At 6 years old his mother beat his front 2 tetth out with a broom. So At 14 he was basically on his own trying to find his way and was introduced to smoking coke/crack, same dam thing if it's real. I know 1st hand in 1983 a acciocite of mine just got back from the island Antigua where he was taught how to turn powder into base. We were FN kids. 15 years old smoking coke. Dam shame. The what hurts the most is that if I go back to drinking, it will eventually lead to every thing else eventually. I am not ashamed of who I am, what I've been through and over come. Im like A Real Bulldog. I never give up, never say die. A thousand mile journey begins with 1 step. Addiction will kill any recovering addict who has relapsed . The ends are always the same for us . Jails.m, Institutions , & death. It's cool to be SOBER. Son of a bitch everything's Real.....

Master P has a great point. He says we need a union for rap like the NBA . This could have been avoided. A intervention , Drug treatment ect. So many Stars have been lost to addiction. The biggest stars in the world. Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, The list goes on and on.

 

Not to come off as a dick but who really cares? At the end of the day all names mentioned were grown ass folks making their own decisions.

 

I care. Addiction is no joke. It doesn't discriminate. That attitude is of ignorance and I hope you never have a loved one who you lose from addiction. Addiction isnt just drugs. It can be anything. I named folks who were famous. I cant tell you how many people I've lost over the years personally. I'm a recovering addict myself.

 

That's great for you, I am as well. Everyone on here knows that. My statement stands, if junkies die junkies die, who gives a damn. Your basically comparing grown ass idiot to little kids with cancer. If I die from Alcohol or meth I hope you all would laugh about it and move on. Addiction is a fucking choice, not a disease!
