Not if I gotta live there.
Obviously a reason he’s been unsuccessful trying to sale it for over a decade.

Lol sure if you want to live in Mexico. Seeing that they flock here to escape from there in droves I'd say it's probably over priced and why it's been for sale for a pretty long time..

Mexicali isn't the safest city in Mexico, but it isn't the most dangerous one either. Nonetheless, tourists are advised to stay in populated areas, avoid poor neighborhoods, and if they do visit them, not to go out at night. There have been reports of vicious beatings at resorts by people who have traveled alone.

Sounds like a fantastic place to live. The price is low reflects that I'd imagine. Reason it's so cheap. Even threw in the dogs to grease it up a bit. I'm sure those dogs are either dead by now or elderly. It sounds sweet but nobody wants the cartel in their backyard.

Mexico is going from bad to worse. Before the drug war on cartels in Mexico started, cartels mainly just trafficked drugs. Now extortion, kidnapping, theft, human trafficking etc are rampant. If you know the area, or have friends/family members from the area you more than likely will be okay. If not just use common sense and don't flash money or bring attention to yourself. And Mexicali is balls hot and would probably be a rough place to have a yard.

I was walking across a street when I got snatched up at gun point. Most everyone that was in there had similar reasons for being in. One guy was changing a tire, another was there to bail his brother out, they threw him in. Most were out fairly quick if someone knew u were there. the officials robed u, then the people who came to get u out. Pretty simple. Except when no one knew u were in there, then u were truly fucked. I got EXTREMELY lucky after a cpl days of phone calls and going to the jail. My very good friend went back, asked for me, guard said, again, I wasnt there. Friend sidestepped them and ran down the hall and put eyes on me. A hour or so later and 35 bucks i was out. The day before, A Mexican atty was there for someone else. I told her Id pay the guard my student loan I just got, $3500. After a few hours she came back with her eyes on the ground, she said, they said no. Rt then I knew I was dead.

That is a crazy story about Mexico. Years ago my partners went down there to buy some goods. Ended up with a similar story. Basically thrown in jail no reason. Pay to get out

You are a lot safer here in the states and you are in Mexico or Turkey.
