I probably wouldn't have notice but I saw your post and moved it to health and nutrition.

I worm every month on the 1st. It's a good habit to get into, IMO. I even treat for heart worms throughout the cold months and I know some don't. For the pennies it costs to do so, you'd be a fool not to worm monthly.

The first time I used Ivomec on a particular puppy I got a long time ago, she shit out a load of roundworms like the pup in the video. I suppose that's why so many worms came out of that puppy (they gave worm medicine). You can imagine how much nutrition worms could steal from a dog.

Same here. Which I dont have many dogs at all nowadays so it dont hit me very hard. I may skip a month in winter now & then, but never more than that

I have used ivomectin for yrs & horse wormer too. my dogs always show up worm free. my vet says the ivomectin is good for heartworms only. that's why I use horse wormer too.

IVOMEC,,, six micro-grams per pound of body weight is effective as a heart worm as a monthly preventative...
at a much higher dose of two hundred micro-grams per pound of body weight (as used in livestock) is effective against a wide variety of both internal and external parasites including roundworms,,, threadworms,,,hookworms and whipworms...

The reason IVOMEC is not sold for dogs a higher dosage than products such as
heartgaurd at six micrograms per pound is that colies are allergic to it,,,
BUT if giving at the livestock ratio it covers a multitude of worms...
IVOMEC is also the best med to fight MANGE...

So,,, IVOMEC covers more than most and if you dont have alot of money
for heartgaurd plus other wormers,,,a bottle of IVOMEC is a must...

As far as HORSE WORMERS ,,,
PENACUR ,,, active ingredient is febendazole and it works well for hook,,,round,,,whipworms and TAENIA TAPEWORMS which the IVOMEC dont cover,,,
so alternating them is ideal to cover taenia tapeworms and the dogs dont get an immunity towards the higher dosages of IVOMEC...
PENACUR is also safe on pregnant bitches which worms usually seem to pop up with the stress of the pregnancy...

The safest and most effective TAPEWORM med is DRONCIT with the active ingredient being praziquantal,,,
instead of being a harsh chemical that poisons the worm(s),,, its actually an enzyme that causes to digest the tapeworm...
A bit harder to get as you need to get it from a vet and if you tell them you seen little rice looking worms in your dogs feces
    they will give you some...

DRONTOL PLUS is a great wormer but pricey,,, ANY TAPEWORM ALTERNATIVES???

Thanks, I don't treat my dogs with anything labeled for dogs. lol everything is more expensive when it's labeled for domestic pets because people in general treat their animals like family and the companies know this so they jack up the price knowing people will pay more instead of looking up the active ingredient in the drugs. You can almost always find something for common care cheaper with a little research instead of paying top dollar for the same drug because it's got a picture of a dog on it instead of a goat. Lol. .

Wormeradicator party peoples, there is nothing like it, the best you could possibly buy.

For a complete worming program it's best to use all of these ingredients.
Pyrantel pamoate- the best choice for hook and roundworms.
Fenbendazole- rids whipworms with just 1 dose.
Praziquantel- the only chemical that treats the tapeworms cause by ingesting fleas.
    Ivermectin- heartworm preventative.
All of these ingredients can be bought over the counter and bought separately in various horse, cattle, and livestock liquids and pastes.
One can risk harm to their animal by not dosing correctly with any of the pastes or liquid concentrates.
There is now an all in one wormer in Wormeradicator that has all of these ingredients in the right amounts to thoroughly get the job done with minimal effort and where the weighing and measuring has already been completed.
Wormeradicator 100% effectively rids all intestinal worms. There is an easy concept of no worm = no immunity, Wormeradicator leaves no survivers and completely wipes out any juvenile or adult worms of any digestive tract nematode specie.
Some of the ingredients in Wormeradicator can cover the same species of worms which adds to the overall effectiveness of the product by targeting some of the same species with different actions.
I always say with whats in Wormeradicator it is impossible for it not to do what it's supposed to do.
The product is the best in the industry, and priced right.
The parasites literally have no chance of survival leaving the animal completely worm free, which will be physically noticeable within days after treatment.
