Scary chick threw skiddish dogs. Not Ch Tyrone Blood. Scarychick got that from her i bred mother who too was a scary acting chick who also was a axe murderer. Also untrue. Never scattered bred dogs or just bred to other good dogs. My breeding program goes by line breeding "Black Widow Bloodline", by way of any so called bloodline going back to Black Widow. Bolio, Honeybunch, Boomering, Arts Missy, Ch Paladin, Midnight Cowboy, Etc.. So when one see me with these breedings in my pedigree. One may see scattered bred without seeing they are all coming down from the " same source", and i only continue getting alligators and rough hounds. No reason to change with whats working. Lol

one of my first quality dogs was bred down from Paladin thru Midas...the % werent there but as you said there were alot of alligators and rough ones. i was young then and ruined plenty i am sure...prolly my biggest regret other than learning/practicing aftercare and realizing they arent machines! i know this is a "patrick" thread and it has taken a turn for a "carver" thread lol.

Lol. We still talking bulldogs though, so we good. I hardly get curs from these great lines. My percentage of good dogs are pretty good even though i hardly ever use red boy. I love placing bolio in my dogs due to they are the smartest of all pit lines. They also have great wind , intensity and love to work. I get a great combination when using my Ch Tyrone Blood with my Rick Rude Bolio Blood. They remain very rough and with plenty of know how and energy to finish the job quite easily and in a quick fashion. Bolio should be the cornerstone of anyone's foundation of bulldogs.

i am not a bolio fan...just not my preference in lines. it might have something to do with all those nigerinos biting them in half back in the day. at the same time i am not blind as there have always been a few around that were causing some noise, personally i havent had much luck with them. my house mutt is has a bit of it in her..shes HA and cant bust a grape but will party all night long bonus is shes real smart.

When it comes to the bolio. I love
Didn't let my personal stock out to strangers. Those who have access to it are hog hunting with it. I will part with it to oldschool dedicated dogmen. It's continued consistently throwing very rough hard mouth hounds with great finishing ability and will not need one hour to catch the hogs and finish the business.

I have only good ones i have gotten from Patrick. Mouth, ability and smart. Rick Rude was a good dog. I had a son of No Regrets that was good and one off of Chomps x Island Girl who was a monster chest killa..

Bakari, if you don't mind me asking, with your breeding program focused on linebreeding around Black Widow Bloodlines, if a black pup pops up do you feel your closer to the source?

    Just
Just look at all the great dogs that came down from her and color hasn't anything to do with what i seek. Many of our dogs come out black, tan, buckskin, brindle, etc.. I look for certain traits and i have gotten the same. Dogs that bite through nails and bullies that are very rough.

Elias is busy doing his peds homework. When he gets finished he'll drop a post including at least 5 of more peds and rattle of something that he's trying to sound like he knows what he's talking about. Just wait for it ....

    Bakari,

Talk about the James dog. One of my favorite stories.

Please tell the story you are speaking about ? Wasn't much of a story. Was purchased from D. Pulley and sold to G. Morris. He was a rough dog with a good mouth and would finish you early.
