I have a 15-month old female who broke her leg when she was 4-months old. vet put in 2 pins and wire to fix her right rear leg.
now I will never know what her style or abilities are, can't even determine if she is worth breeding. Do I make her a pet and start over.
This dog was bought from a well known breeder and is supposed to be off of a grch and my foundation dog.
    What would you do?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

I'd go back to the vet and ask him to check that the break is fully healed and she has full use of her leg. If she does I'd treat her just like any other dog her age. I may not show her as an adult, but you should be able to determine if she's worth breeding from.
All Scotsman's Ch Max's were with pins/plate in his leg and Mad's Gr Ch Gabe's last was also achieved with pins in.

i dont think having all 4 wheels would make a difference in her being a bulldog.. either she is or isnt.

True, and probably the most simplistic answer that could be given. the question is and i think treez and blueboy understood, would it be much of a disadvantage to see what she is. I won't put a dog out there that is at a disadvantage. i'll take the loss before i do something like that.

Only time and a test will give you your answer. Jm2c

That surgery being that far back, and if she doesn't favor that leg, I'd at least test her good, if you like what you see line up A breeding!! If you want to really give her A fair shot wait until shes at least two and fully developed mentally and physically! Good Luck And start out slow!!

i wasnt being simplistic..more or less realistic. often times when one wasnt thought as being box worthy you would test an individual and when testing you would stack the odds against them. hopefully getting the results that makes a bulldog worth breeding. as a rule i would put one thing first when breeding these animals ,not making any excuses. does your bitch have the ability of being bulldog?....ofcourse a cpl of screws and a wire arent going to take away from that. i could post a 100 thousand peds with glorified stories of dogs that went thru alot more that getting a leg broke at 4 months. BTW i wasnt being disrespectful... i think treez and blue were just being nice. sorry you paid all that money for a "gr ch" puppy that had her career ruined at 4 months old. as of having an advantage would you only do the do if their legs were the same length or teeth the same size? Because that would be an excuse. LOL just busting balls, enjoy your pup!

Two years is just a number. A dog will tell you when they are ready.

A leg doesn't determine heart. As long as those legs are moving in the right direction you're fine
