Yes I think Pit Bulls in general should be banned. People forget that not all owners are responsible and train them to fight. It is then these dogs that are trained to fight and their natural aggressive instincts, plus their incredible jaw strength as well as the their tenacity to hang on to something that all terriers have, that makes this breed an especially dangerous and lethal combination. I am especially afraid that a pit bull will attack me or my dog which is small; and for those macho Rambo-style, male conservatives who believe in survival of the fittest, I have news for you. This is a civilized country we live in, and vicious dog attacks on people and other dogs are not allowed. If you want to express your machoness through your dog, I suggest you move to Texas where I'm sure Bush and his friends will certainly allow you to let your pit bull run wild on his ranch. When it kills someone, don't be surprised when your dog is taken away from you and you are fined or put in jail.

I read that BS! I voted NO on the survey but the NOs aren't winning by very much. I believe it was 60 something % to 40 something %.
