Wonder why people sell the females for more...its rare to even find a worthy bitch to stick to a male..

 

Cuz the bitch will make the new buyer money in a year or so. You can have the stud of the century, and not make much cash....but over-breed a female and you can put food on the table *rolling my eyes*

 

exactly its the difference between getting the cost of a stud fee and getting the price of an entire litter with a breeding.
You would have to stud your male many times to make the same amontof money you would make with a single female.

I think this new Gator Mouth thing is some ting som ppl got missed up with Gator blood

 

More than likely, its just some idiot bragging about how "big" his dog's mouth is...probably trying to play into the publics desire for a protection-type dog who could take a big bite and hold on. That's my guess.

I've heard that gator mouth thing before. There was a sign selling gator mouth pups at a local pet store. The irony is, Tulsa has laws that require intact dogs to be titled or used for showing or hunting, but they don't do anything to enforce that. They could stop quite a bit of peddling right there by making it illegal to advertise pups without a hobbyist permit, but they don't do it. (This from the same state that will be wrestling with BSL in January.)

 

Ya'll can bitch and complain all you like, however it doesn't matter whom is selling to the public....big names or no names or your average joe, it's all the same.

For those that do sell to the public, you can try to justifie your actions and reasons behind this...but you cant seperate your self from the fact that you also contribute to this and many problems that plague this breed.

Yeah, I've had so many people wanting to buy or breed my baby, Its really pissing me off. My baby is only 4mos....she is no where near ready to be breed, but this one guy, who made a u turn in the middle of the road to see my baby, told me that when she is ready, he has a gator mouth brindle and wouldn't mind getting with me on some pups..I looked at him as if he was stupid.....This is sad, I know in albany alone, there have been several pit robberies(sp)

dam i had somebody wantingto breed to one of my dogs with his boxer,freaking retard.

 

I had someone ask me to breed bane to a boxer once and another person ask to breed him to a cane corso. I just asked them why they wanted to make mutts

 

I hear that. Someone down the street from me wanted to breed Loki to his "badass" pure white male rednose. And today, I had another guy (who also owned a white dog) ask me if I'd ever bred her yet. It really kills me how many people assume that breeding is the natural outcome of owning a dog. Unfortunately, no moral answer seems to be enough for people who don't understand why I wont breed her, so I just tell them she's got crooked teeth and I don't want to pass that on to a litter of puppies.

 

Please, let's not start with the posting of classifieds. There are thousands out there that are all equally rediculous.
