Don't think I've ever introduced Ella.

She's a year old and I finally got some free time to go visit my cousin who I put her with. He sends me pictures regularly but he takes the worst pictures and they always look blurred or out of focus etc. She reminds me a lot of her Sire. Ella has a striking resemblance to Charlie

My cuzzie tells me she is the best dog he has ever owned. Keep in mind we're talking about as a house pet. The dog is spoiled rotten. It was nice to see how he has trained her and how smart she was as well as how well cared for she is. Had that sweet type good natured personality that I love in a few of my other dogs too. She follows his little 5 year old daughter around like a 5 o'clock shadow. IMHO she turned out far better looking than I thought she would too. All in all she looks very healthy and loved and I always like to hear that with a dog I have with someone who's never owned the breed. He raised her like I told him to and shes turning out just like I though she would for him. The best dog he's ever owned. Had a great time hanging out with them today.

A very nice little dog there and great representation of how stable well bred bulldogs can be in the right hands!!!
My old white middle aged black mentor "the black fox" calls'em stashspots or strongholds and has no problem breeding to that type dog if its from his family,,, their stashspots as young dogs and sometimes they come back,,,
but once he realized they were not going anywhere,,, they gradually turned to strongholds,,, lol...

In other words I can tell from her traits shes a different family from your base,,,
and might be worth folding back into your tighter dogs...

Thanks EP, I knew my cousin would take good care of her. I didn't want to take up space here because I don't have the room to try and raise 2 seperate lines right now and those other dogs of mine are my main focus. What do you think of this one that's all set to go as soon as she comes into heat? I'll post both Ellas' Pedigree then look at this other one getting done and tell me what would you rather go with. Lol

Just looked at the other ped again not bad. I think if the 4th generation was the start of the ped I would like it better.JM2C

4 generations is a lot. I liked Cherry as an individual. Had her here for like a month in a half. She had a very clingy type personality that I tend to like. She was very smart and She was a good looking dog dog aswell. Nothing wrong with her pedigree. Most of those dogs behind her were well checked dogs, I just prefer a pedigree stacked with ROM dogs and Gr Ch's over just checked dogs. Just my preference. Not taking anything away from Cherry since I did really like her as an individual. She was a pleasure to have around which is rare for me to say when people send me their bitches to breed.

In 20 years of doing this, it was probably one of the few Ive done where stands and muzzles weren't needed. My daughter would bring Charlie in, Cherry and Charlie would run around and chase eachother for like 5 minutes in a courting type way then he would be up in that vag by himself lickity split. No need for me to do anything for them to help. I normally have to do everything for them when breeding my own dogs and even many times when breeding other people's dogs. My females tend to be very fight crazy and a pain in the ass when trying to get them bred, typically fighting it the entire time.

The Pennsylvania Princess keeping her Stud and Cherry calm and still while in a tie.

I should have her log on here to mentor Kendodrake. Lmfao. I think she would school the shit out of him on husbandry.
Plus she's taught to not over hype any dog. Not to be afraid to tell someone a dogs flaws along with its good traits. Lying to people about the dog and making things up will do no good in a breeding program especially if your lying to yourself. That kid is like a sponge with information when it's something she is actually interested in and she definitely has caught the bulldog bug.

Thanks treez. She's got a great little personality on her. My cousin has bugged me for years to let him get one and I had that gyp as payment for the doing the breeding. Being that it is currently Charlies only breeding I have an interest in how they turn out so I figured my cousin has bugged me about it for years, he only lives 2 miles from me and because he is my Fam I know he will call me first if he has an issue and the dog will come back to me. He gets what he wants, I get what I want = win win situation for me. The owner of cherry kept one and his buddy kept the other 4. So I'll know in a year how Charlie can really produce or at least an idea on if I want to make room to keep some offspring of him. Charlie is young enough that I got a little bit of time to decide what I want to do.

Real good looking pup, she looks a lot like C.Y.C. It's really awesome that your daughter is into the dogs as well. I myself would breed to Ariel and see what is produced. Best of Luck!

The brindle on the couch, That's the shape head I look for not to blocky with A longer muzzle! What I've heard a lot of oldtimers call A cutting head!

Just talked to my partner, he's arranging to have my oldest gyp transported to his place for breeding! Wish I could post it but he'd flip out! Mines 3/4 Old Carver, E. Crenshaw/Snow Stu Fowler, and 1/4 tight Old Hienzel! First time I've bred off my yard if I remember right since about 1985/86! Breeding into similar stud just A different route! Kinda A distant family breeding!! Look's like I've come full circle!! I'll get some pictures up soon! By the same token "LUCK" when preparation meets opportunity!! I sure like the looks of that brindle on the couch.......Very Nice AGK!!

The color has grown on me. I never really cared for brindle. Any shade of it. Over the years though of seeing it everyday it's not too bad to me now. When I look out back it looks like reds and blacks and then there is charlie. My little blonde. Lol. He sticks out back there that's for sure lol.

Sounds like a great situation and it definitely helps when it's family. Don't know why I thought it was a boy, my mistake. Hope she didn't get offended lol. She's adorable though.
