Books and Magazines for sale

I have a pretty good collection of books and magazines from the sport I'm thinking of selling to raise some funds for medical/legal expenses. Most of the books are in very good condition - some signed by authors - some 1st editions. Any ideas on where I should try to sell to get most for them? E-bay comes to mind - any other good ideas. Don't need to be worried about getting ripped off. Wouldn't mind selling to folks here on board but need to find a fool proof method for you-all to get your books and me to get my money.

So sorry! I've been busy w/ Doctors Appointments and scheduling mix ups. I will deff. get lists of all I have for sale up over the weekend.

NatureBoy and stinkrock - Thanks for the kind thoughts but I've always paid my own way. Old fashioned like that. I've had many fond years w/ the sport and dogs and need to let some of this stuff go to those younger than me to enjoy. I have come to the conclusion that I could no longer do the dogs right, so I will not be getting another game bred performance dog. I am looking at an American Bulldog pup that is bred down the old Painter - Koura - Screaming Eagle lines. Defiantly not the bully pug-faced oversize Johnson dogs. This dog is sizable enough for me to use as a service dog to help me get around. Also a companion for that PTSD bastard that lurks in my background to keep his azz grounded. I am going to try to set up a PayPal account to get this started.

I have already been getting responses of "how much do you want for ..." I thought I was being specific enough when I ask what you would be willing to pay. I would rather let them go on here to a Game Dog person than action the off to just anyone on E-bay. I know what a lot of them are going for on other places on the internet - but please do your homework and come up with a reasonable offer- you might just be surprised.
All the "what do you wants" will be ignored.

Why not just put them on eBay give everyone a chance all that "how much do you want for them"is because people don't want to insult you so don't ignore them they are only trying to buy them.

 

I sent you a pm with an offer still no reply i'd actually be interested in maybe 2 books but you just ignored me i'll send you one more pm and maybe we can work something out hopefully you won't ignore me this time

I hope all went well for her and that she is on the mend.

You have some fine books there, all good classic books on the breed. I already have these titles, some are pretty pricey if you can find them.

Best of luck with selling them and best wishes for your daughter's recovery. Family comes first!

 

Good collection..I just payed 200 for 6 sporting dog journals..there very informative I would take a couple of those books definitely for the right peice...by the way I'm glad to be back on game-dog.com
