    I agree that in a perfect scenario you shouldn't need to do that but over the last twenty years the game has changed. I can remember late 80's early 90's being a kid going to matches with my granddad and uncles and it was almost like friends getting together to hang out and see some action, but that has certainly changed

    Lol I know, my granddaddy kept that old colt on his hip. Just a generalization as to the differences of the social aspect during the match. When I was young it seemed to me as if the money took a back seat and it was mainly about the dogs were as today it's all about the cash mostly and when you deal with people who are all about the cash you need to be prepared because they might decide they wanna try to take yours

    I grew up in the streets and truly didn't start to settle down until about 5-6yrs ago, and I'm almost 40. I been to street functions and good ole BBQs and never needed a banger. Keeping a level head and doing your homework will get you just as far with people as it will with dogs. Respect is to die for and people are serious all around this marble. Pick a good crowd and stick to it. There are respectable people in this community and the 're e are people who demand respect IMO its better to be a mix of the two.
