Many years ago when I did not know no any better and I just got into dogs, I Tried OL ROY and my dogs would flip their bowls and look at me as saying get that shit out of here, Serious they would not touch it lol

 

All Ol Roy isn't the same, it's like most feeds out there that have different recipes. Ol Roy makes a hi performance feed that is prob comparable to diamond or something similar. But no that 50# bag that cost like 9 bucks ain't worth much!


March isn't the only month for Madness!!

 

Haha ol Roy is just a cheap dog food min protien is like 16% not great dog food but when u got other bills to pay or your have kids u gota do what u gota do ... Anybody ever supplement their dog food with dha like from similar I know dha supports brain functions but with dogs being lactose intolerant never knew if it would cause problems ---ps anybody feeding ol Roy do what ya gota do .... I have a bitch that will be 15 in nov she eats it once in a while. And she's not dead yet

I guess it just comes down to what works for you, if i had kids, little money & a cluttered schedule.....sure, i may let the quality of nutrition for my animals take a backseat........or maybe (just maybe...).......i may check my priorities and feed less dogs so i can remain doing things at an optimal level......just sayin.... i wouldnt measure quality of nutrition by making sure it keeps my dogs alive, lol.......

 

Haha sometimes alive works well enough .. But don think I'm a die hard ol Roy fan I've fed the whole scale of dog foods it's just I haven't seen a difference between 20 $ bad of ol Roy vs. 30 $ bag of diamond and if I'm gonna spend more might as well start feeding them sobs guinea pigs lol plus u can always supplement cheap dog food hell throw some meat scraps. Eggs ect... and u got decent dog food

 

I have saw the difference between feeds weather its ole roy vs diamond naturals or etc etc..in kibble you get what you pay for .

 

True but some dog food if over priced. With fancy packaging and then that 30 $ bag of food is no better then the cheaper stuff.... But I'm not knocking anyone's feed .... Feed what works But but don't always believe more $$ always equals better.... On a side note what's the protein % on purina bright mind

isnt pepsin a type of enzyme that works with cells to help the body use nutrients? (or some shit like that...lol)

ive read into it a little, however my full understanding of the subject is minoot....... so far from what i gather, pepsin was a type of enzyme that when released in the gut... it works with other cells in the body to assist in digestion & absorbtion.
