So i was out with some buddies hagging out and talking shit and the old time friemd whose house it was was never married or had kids so we all passed out where ever after drinking and i woke up to go use the shitter when i stumbled over soomthing and fell when i turned the light on a cold chill ran through and i stared for about 20 min then shut the light off i coudnt sleep and had a terrible pain in my head from the alcahol and what i saw. The next morning I told my buddy what was in the rooom and looked to be Old Spike he looked at me and said it was. He couldnt bare the thought of not having him around anymore so he had the dog TAXIDERMED he said alot of people did this. PS has anyone heard of somthing like this or is it just me

This thread need some pictures. I've seen some terrible ones but if don right I guess.

 

I would probably prefer a life size statue cut down on the creepy factor.

 

i got one of my dogs taxied. Wasn't a pit but one of the best catahoula hog dogs i had. Got him and the hog that killed him done together. The Hogs 5" teeth hit him right in the jugular, he was about 6 years old. Still haven't come across another dog like him.

I thought it would have been cool to have a Hall of fame museum style setup. Maybe an underground thing and it's filled with all the great dogs. Just my idea

 

when i was a kid my parents had a mongoose and snake in battle and i have seen all the regulars like fish, moose but to have your buddy stuffed and in the living room. I guess if you kept looking at it you would get used to it

 

I have deer heads, ducks, Fish, an otter, hog skulls, and snake skins in my living room. I don't want my dogs on the wall . Pics paintings and such are fine. I would prefer my past dogs buried out back with the rest.

My wife threatens to do it to one of my dogs to piss me off...

 

I went to an old ladies house once, and she had her full sized dog stuffed at the top of the stairs and a device that made a barking noise. She said that her husband had Passed away and then it was just her and the dog. 2 years later the dog goes and she's left all alone. She was afraid of burglars so she had the dog taxidermied.

There's a Tales from the Crypt episode of which this thread reminds me (it may have been Tales from the Darkside). Creepy old jerk can't stand his wife's menagerie, so he stuffs all of them and does other nastiness like replacing a stuffed English bulldog's eyes with blinking red lights (no, I am not making this up).
