I can't believe this wasn't picked up sooner. That ped has a dog breeding to himself, or maybe herself.

Some lines do not seem to be affected with health problems by inbreeding as much as others such as Redboy and Earl Jr. I run mostly Earl jr but don't have it as tight as some of the stuff Tom is putting out. There is a breed off of Frankie now that is super tight.

Well if you've seen parrots there top beak over laps the bottom peak so if that is similar in dogs then I would assume its a over bite.

The stud of this female was Pit Island's Whiskey and the dam was Pit Island's Brandy. Both where good representative and worthy to be bred. All the pups where healthy but our best breeding where when we Crossed this bloodline with our Jeep Redboys and our pure Vise Grip dogs.

Parrot mouth is also called hog jawed. It's just a serious overbite, EP. I've rarely seen it, myself.

Question to anyone who may see this, why can I not see a thread I started? I can see replies I post on threads. But not if I try to start a thread.

Another problem with inbrwd earl jr hounds is a bent lower back. Real happy with my earl jr blood and my boomer stuff. Running both outcrossed. Anyone got info on the earl jr blackjack crosses ?

The inbred Redboy stuff I had, had weak teeth poor bone structure and were either dumb as shit or ice cold. Boomer dogs stand up pretty well to intense inbreeding but at some point enough is enough especially when its being done just for pretty peds. Yis Ole Man

I believ it was the Ch Casper dogs that were being complained about concerning the Earl Jr dogs. Ol Phil had a lot of unhappy customers on his old board.

Every Redboy dog I came across lately is bred just like the one posted. Not to say it's not a "Good" bulldog because I don't know. Never laid eyes on it. But paper alone it's not my style. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with a tight dog. Hell, Ive had some that are pretty dang tight and still have one or two that are exceptional. But there comes a point where you have reached the end of the bottle neck with the genes your trying to capture or preserve. Then your just doubling up on the undesirable time after time and losing what you once loved about the blood with each litter. Hybrid vigor is far removed at that point. A outcross wouldn't do any harm at all with that bulldog in my humbled opinion. But I'm not a world class breeder either. I'm just a fancier with a understanding that's had ideal success with my method of madness.

Thank you TDK. I don't ever recall seeing this in any dog...underbite yes but never over. All my Earl Jr dogs have very good conformation and act as one would hope. I prefer it half or up to 3/4. I have a male that is half Earl jr blood that I would love to take to a female off of Pit Islands Midnight, preferably one crossed with his Redboy blood.

I tried to warn him about how he words certain things, states certain opinions, and how it would back lash. IMHO.........
