trimming nails for weight pulling

    If you are doing enough road work then they should be fairly short already. I try to get my pups used to a dremel tool (thttp://www.dremel.com/en-us/Pages/default.aspxool ) at an early age, I feel they are safer than clipper or scissor types and reduce chance of going to deep and cutting the quick. You can shape them to get a claw, blunt or what ever shape you need. I make it a play/treat time and only work on one foot at a session (or one toe as needed).

    yes, they are short already, i saw pics of people trimming nails for wp, so i was wondering about infos on that, how people shape them for weightpulling.
    im kinda afraid to do lots of road work and ending with nails too short, i try to do most work on grass

    I've walked dogs hours a week on blacktop, dogs pulling the entire time. Never had the nails get too short. I woldnt worry about that
