She is actually high 30s not mid 40s I apparently do not guess weight well lol but all of ours can destroy these Kong's in no time flat, some faster, some a little slower, but none of ours, save for the toothless old dogs, are allowed to have Kong's at all because they destroy them so quick and could eat them if we don't notice soon enough. I've got a whole bucket of black Kong's that look like that or worse from the young dogs here

Ya i've gone through my fair share of them too, just would love to see a dog shred one of these in minutes, would be cool to see....must have some sharp teeth.

 

lol thats the funny part i have one, and i've gone through my fair share of black kongs, just would love to see a video posted of a dog shredding one of these to pieces in just minutes...

 

She's actually just under 40 lbs, she might be 40 now that it's winter. We got 3 or 4 that will just shred right through them. They just ain't made for bulldogs.

It's got a lot more to do with how often, and how intensely they chew them. I've noticed the ones that can blow right through them are the ones that play with them constantly without putting them down. They just chew and chew until something eventually gives, lol

I wish the excuse for my girl was that she gnawed on them often, but not the case here. I have given her an XL with peanut butter before and she didn't tear it up. She destroys them when there is frozen shit in it, out of pure frustration. that's what i think anyways

 

Two of ours destroyed theirs very quickly one day and I think it was because they could see one another across in their kennel runs and they just pulled them apart like I'd never seen lol and the one had never destroyed a Kong before, she loved hers.

It took the 60# male a long time to break his but as Champ said he wasn't constantly working it, just playing with it like a regular dog. His brother and sister did theirs in in hours but they worked those suckers so hard there was no way they could stand up

Ya thats cool... hours, so has my boy lol. hours, but minutes, i'd love to see one shred right through one in minutes, less than an hour. and sure give it to em 15 minutes at a time for 4 times and it still aint gunna happen...not frozen, no food in it, just throw it on the ground and see them shred it in less than an hour. i can see 3 hours, but id say even 2 could be tough.

 

Who gives a shit really? I mean this is a raw food picture thread and your hung up on Kong's...

It's NOT impressive, nor was anyone trying to convey that they were impressed by it. MANY dogs can and have destroyed them inside of 15-20 min. My Lil Vader dog would start pulling chunks off one immediately, our friends English retriever mutt will destroy one in 15 min flat. It's not impressive, and doesn't mean anything other than you have a destructive dog, lol

ya i call bullshit, anyone can post a 10 minute video on youtube tossin a brand new kong on the ground and go from there.
ya they can shred em, my dog has shred plenty, reason i give a shit is cause we got people claiming their or a dog they know completely go through them in minutes, now we got one less than 20 minutes. post a vid of your hound id love to see it....

 

What does it matter if they do it in hours or mins.... Lmao
