dog kills duck, gets death sentence

Not sure what to make of this:

sounds like there is no proof of doing anything but what a dog does . he didn't bite anyone .

 

yea, it seems like the only thing he did that can be proven is he killed the duck.

Hearsay evidence from a juvenile that the dog attempted to bite an eight year old and killed a duck. No proof just the kid's word. Death sentence on the dog. Reminds me of a place where I used to live. If the dog's owner had killed the duck or ducks when they came on his property eating his "greens" nothing could of happened except they'd stop letting their ducks roam. The law is a pain in the ass when it victimises people and dogs like this. I feel like a jerk even commenting. It's a strange world we live in.

 

I agree this death sentence seems unfair.
