Handsome was imported out of Patricks Cheng leng and Boni moroni, LATER his pedigree was changed in a pedigree as a son of Bolio. The rumour whent that At the time of him being imported was ina time of Bolio beeing bred while stolen. Handson was NOT a ch but a 2x winner . near his death as a old dog they send in a vintage report to make him ch . his so called first fight was against a english bull terrier wich lasted 26 min!!!. This rol was not a match. Some people however rememberd this. The vintage report was used to make Bolio a ROM dog.
As for ch sting . He was a hell of a good dog. He beat the stale Nelis rom. And was later stopt bij Nelis his Halve brother Dragon famelys CH Ringo. Both Speedy and Harley i knew very wel and see them fool around, as i knew and know there breeder . both Speedy and Harley where top notch. there is NO Handsome blood left when the Bross brothers quit with the dogs they send there left overs to Russing Bill Steward. . Later when i contacted Bill about how the handsome dogs whould hold up he said they compleatly played out and did not sute his way!!... her is a picture of CH Sting the day he beat Nelis rom

But Limey his report was sent in to the SDJ and was accepted............hence he was awarded a CH status.

Winning from a Bull has nothing to do with this there has to be a contract with name, weight and sex of the dogs, a reputable ref, etc.........no breed specification, or am I incorrect ??

Don't go the way of a roll being later changed as a match as we both know one as well, involving a black male and a red dog ;-0 and there are still some……..;-)

In the end it is the breeder who is fooling himself by reporting falls reports and the truth always prevails. But let me state here that the BROSS were not this kind of people and neither will they do such a thing………….you agree ???

Let’s try not to down talk our dogs from the days gone by, just because it’s not a specific line which ya don’t carry. In these day’s they had to bring a real good one down from were ever to over here to win over witch ever of our lines available.

Handsome being directly from Bolio or not, it was a very good dog and has produced well, as did his offspring !!

There are still some Handsome dogs around even in the USA, but indeed hard to find.
Question to ya Limey, do you know were Winnie ended up ?

 

I can asure you handsom was a good one ,ive seen him go .And yes bross where good dog man an both where nice guys to hang around with.I believe winny ended up with a friend of bross(R.B)

Yes two diferend litters and there where other good dogs in those litters. back then in the late 80,s eurly 90,s of the previus century my wife met up with Harley befor she was my wife with a dog called Giand kennels ch King who was out of http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=436444 cant find ch kins sire,s ped on line ,but he was out of a brother to U&S grch Nicky Called bugsy! Limey ive seen tater go and i still think he was by far a better dog than nicky was,what happend to uggy after her third ,ive seen two and she was n impressive little dog.

Nobody said he Handsome was a bad dog, facts are facts. and thats the way it izzzzzzzzz. His pedigree is of no consirn to me, i just stated wat was said and done in a time when i was closly involved. i wasend in volved with his breeding. hens i stay out of it. someting other people should pick up on.. here is another fact that only a handfull of people know. Winnie was shown into STB with a bitch Winnie jumpt in 7!!!! afther a new start she forced herself tru the pit wall. STB did not claimed the show. Then They argude and gave her another 3e chanse . bij this time the stb bitch was screwed up in her head. Winnies howed she wassend happy, But this time she stayied in and afther some time the STB bitch lost the show....

 

But that applies to all ever recognizes reporst who were ever sent in to SDJ and so for every Gr or Ch dog out side the USA, don't it. But oke you had to bring it up and we took notice :-D

Good info, but must say I am glad I was always able to trust my eyes and not get into listening about everyone's else's thoughts. I would to exactly call my dog a handsome dog. But after hearing about the other dogs down from him and seeing pictures he was definitely a handsome throwback in temperament and look. Rushin even wanted to do a cover story about the dog but I declined. I think it is funny how one minute they don't make the grade but as soon as a good one pops up it's like they never doubted it. To my knowledge there are none or not many heavy bred handsome dogs around but there are still a few with handsome influence and they are doing there thing. Thanks again for the info and glad this post is back on track

 

Spartan i cant remember the name of the bitch Winnie whent into.but it might get to me. In The vintage report of Handsom they DINDT not mentiond he was up against a Bullterrier.. not that it matters as HE handsome was a quality dog for sure!!. but you can not take away the smear of them using the vintage report to up Bolio,s Rom status..

 

Altho i knew Tater i never saw him go , more people that saw him go said the same. I dont know. what i do know is that Tatter did not met the uponends grch Nicky met. and from the shear looks of both brothers i would bet on grch Nicky any day of the week. as for Ukkie she was shown one more time and made ch. she won in 11 40 21 min her longest show was into a sister of STB Raleigh!. a dog known i the usa as one of the gfamest that ever lived. he was send over as a puppy bij STB europe.... I know him ,his name was raleigh and ive i am not mistaken his sisters name was snootje.As far as i know tater only did go once (against country boys little man )he belonged to ron,s brother who kept him as a housedog

 

Yes her name was Snootje.I do doubt that litte Tater whent into Little big man!!!. tought he whent into Country boys Chinaman!?..
