By the creek deer frequent the area early in the am and in the evening just before dusk she would love to be let loose on them. Thanks for the compliments and your dog is looking great as well.

Smt232, that's a great looking pup to. I just made my pup a springpole.

Thanks Siccen. In the past I have used a garage spring but had one break once and the dog nearly get injured. I used ~6 foot length of thick bungie from ACE hardware which seems to work just as well and hopefully is safer. The bungie needs to be long-ish though to get the same range of stretch that you get from a garage spring.
What did you use? Spring or bungie?

I actually used a spring, and a bungee cord together. The bungee I used had a built on d-ring on both sides which was nice. Got the spring, and the bungee at Home Depot. Since my pup is only 17 pounds the spring I am using now isn't any thicker than a fat sharpie marker. It gives him plenty of resistance. I do have it pretty low for now though. Once he starts yanking from hanging got to move up to the porch spring! Ha ha, ways to go before that though.

Haha is the dog focused on a toy, squirrel, dog, etc?

Good eye FD, a cat just walked thru the yard. She is always scanning the area looking for anything moving. In my neighborhood several houses have cement rabbits in the yard as well Christmas decorations that are deers. Damn things get her all riled up and confused.

Yea I know that look. Haha yea mine also get confused by animal statuary. Shiny steel objects with strong reflections really throw off one of my dogs

While I do like Kemo, I would go with a pup from Conan. The litter that Conan was from had two Champions here in North America and a female that was sent overseas that is really producing well. Jt always said he felt Conan was the better dog between him and Squeeze and did a couple of breedings with him that have shown well. Look wise Kemo is far more impressive but of all the offspring I have seen I have not seen one even close to looking as impressive...of course performance wise he is said to be producing.

Thats the only thing that matters. The only thing i don't like about the kemo offspring i have seen is they are a little too straight forward for me.
