red rocket / tonic / gravediger

    Crossed with what other patterdale lines or bulldogs.There's not many PATT lines not like apbt.A good PATT breeder wouldn't cross into bulldogs he would breed to the best hunting PATT.

    Putting some bull in them can help keep them outta earths if your only working above ground a good bull x is what the u need

    i had a double bred Tonic dog from Robert, ended up to big for earthwork and was a wee bit spooky, so no good to me. he told me he use ch black nailus over one of his patterdales, some worked , some to big but that he didn't continue the line as they weren't as good as his other stuff.

    EA,
    I had a Boothe dog, something like 16xTonic in his ped..... really nice dog, although he started a little slow and wound up too big for earth work (quite common for the Boothe bred dogs?), so he was shipped out to a buddy in the Dakotas. He was worked for a short time but was infected with CHP, he died from complications from it a few months later, my buddy was really liking how the dog was working. That is all I can tell you from my "semi-personal" experience. Regards, Steve
