Abpt patterdale cross

Anybody got any info on who's crossing apbt and patterdales

 

this is the only place i have ever found anything online. look like some interesting dogs.

I just picked up
A female with some schwab blood on bottom and mason on top. The breeder is out in Germany. Are you from out there?

What is HOF?

 

Oh wow those dogs are awesome!

 

HOF = Hall Of Fame It is a title for working and breeding, similar the ROM of APBTs.

 

I like it best with only a 1/4 or 1/8 apbt blood.

 

Check with Adrian Renteria. He has great dogs. Intelligent, trainable, noses, plenty of air and hard as hell. He has the blueprint right. I have owned 4 and they were all great. PM me if you need more information.

 

Little guy looks tough! The two black dogs are quite striking as well. Nice pic!

A good "working dog is a good working dog" I get that... But I have to ask why would you cross the two or need to cross the two? Larger game that the patty can't handle? Seems they both have their own desired traits for a reason and crossing the two means your not working with a pure bred dog and you are losing the desired traits of the two breeds that make them unique. Serious question...why or what is the need? Thanks.

 

The APBT female, who I crossed with the Patterdale male, is a hunting dog. Very dog friendly, good nose and hunting sense. And I wanted a dog who is a little bigger, stronger and has more power in the jaw than the typical Patterdale Terrier, but who is faster and smaller than the typical APBT. ....The offspring is 2 years old now, and all of them are good for hunting. How good they will be? ...Time will tell......

 

By the way.... I don't see big differences in "my" APBTs and Patterdale Terriers.
Maybe there are more differences in other dogs, by other owners. But mine are very similar.

 

Devil is a Patterdale Terrier.
His daughter is a PT X APBT cross.
