i believe that the mims bred dogs that carl put me on, are just as good as any out there. 5/8's redboy, 1/4 snooty, and 1/8 fiddlefoot. who i believe waqs gabe's littermate, i think.

the other mims' blood i have is straight up 50/50 snootyx bolio.

its been said that wen carl puts his name on the dogs papers, you can take it to the bank and they'll cash it.

I'll always give an individual dog his or her proper dues and kudos. No kennel blindness when it comes to a great dog when I see one. I have seen Gabe and to me, he is in my top dozen to fifteen I ever saw do the dew.

Grand Champion AKA the Southern Terror-the 5-time winner Gabe was bred by Carl Mims in North Carolina. Rolled out as a pup Gabe displayed all the fine qualities of a real bulldog as he matched for his 1st time into Burpo's AK47 a 2 time winner at 42 pounds. The show starts out fast both dogs are swapping holds and then Gabe hits the button and it's all down hill for Burpo's dog, turn on AK47 at 17 and he won't come at 22. Now Gabe has stirred up talk with the dogmen of the South. People like Norman K, Mc litoche, Ladnier, Favre, and Cull pepper, as others talked about the win many people grew a strong relationship with the dog called Gabe.

Now for his second opponent Big Frank's Mudd, the match drew a lot of spectators because of the impressive win over AK47. Everyone felt that AK47 was at talented young dog and was considered game by many. Big Frank's Mudd had his share of spectator's brewing from Florida back through Mississippi. This show was predicted to test young Gabe because of the style of Mudd, a dog said to be deep game. From the start the dogs were trying to display dominance, Mudd wanted the stifle and he hit his marks, Gabe barely 2 years of age was getting his spots too as he was up front. Both dogs got where they wanted to be and made things happen, but Gabe was clearly getting the job done over Mudd. At 40 minutes Mudd begins to show the wear and by 1:03 it is ashes to ashes and dust to dust as Gabe shows a lot of finish.

The state of Alabama is now in disbelief. Talk of Gabe is spewing about the Deep South, we are all very proud of him. At 2 ½ years old Gabe is going for his championship and everyone wants a piece of the action and Billy Shores give what little he could cause the whole world wanted to bet. OLE Emmet A from Alabama says he has the cure for this dog Gabe, he says his dog Blackie is the medicine to calm Gabe fever. Well when it comes to Gabe vs. Blackie it is Gabe all the way as Blackie is put to the floor and kept there for 43 minutes and now the notorious Gabe is the Champion Southern Terror Gabe!

Talk of studding Ch. Gabe was not yet in the forecast, this amazing individual has grand champion written all over him. Victim number 4 was to be harder than expected as Mr. Steve's Red Dog stayed even for about 30 minutes then Gabe started hitting his spots and the dam broke loose. Steve's dog couldn't scratch at 1:07. Now Gabe was to be feared by everyone with a show dog ranging from 42 to 44 pounds as Gabe was set out a whole year open, and no one wanted to match him.

The Over Throw of Alabama! Mark D., a young dogman in Texas, was very pleased with what he had heard about and saw of Gabe. Started an entire state feuding, as everyone just couldn't believe that the Gabe dog was from Alabama. Money isn't supposed to buy anything, but it bought Gabe!

Now in Texas in the hands of M.A.D. they brag heavily on the Gabe dog and no one wants to match him, from Bobby Hall to James Crenshaw, everyone gave this dog a pass. Famous dogmen hiding in the brush watching Gabe as M.A.D. pre-keeps him for whoever challenges him. Finally a show for Gabe comes up and 2 weeks before the deal, he comes up lame. Fractured his leg! M.A.D. can't believe what the vet says as there is no mark on the dog's leg. He is limping though and X-rays show a fracture. The solution is the doctor put an Iron Plate in Gabe's leg. He had to sit up for 12 months and let this heal properly. M.A.D. still wanted 5 though.

Now, he is hooked to go into Steve & Terry's Missing Link. Ten to a side and Gabe is going a bit heavier this time at 43. There are 10 to a side. Gabe wins in 43 minutes, as Missing Link is unable to stay under the high ability that Gabe was instilled with. As he is now Grand Champion Gabriel. He lived the good life and was bred to just a few quality bitches. He ate his plastic bowl and perished. (RIP). He need's one more to be ROM. It will happen.
