    just browsin on youtube and came across these mills. not sure the quality of them but it looks like some of the folks that built these spent some major time on them.

    i especially dig the one tht the jack russel is on...

    plans for this mill are $25..plus $5 shipping...minimal tools...minimal skills required....includes materials list and contacts for purchasing them, pictures, step by step instructions, and mill usage....the cost of the plans and building the mill is less than $150....
    or....for $35 plus $10 shipping you get the plans plus the 6" end roller caps...(cut with a 6" hole saw which costs about $55 and not every one wants to buy a tool like that for a one time use)
    ...or....for $65 plus $12 shipping it is the mill plans plus a complete set of end rollers ready to install....remaining parts of the mill about $60-$70....
    let me know...US1

    for whatever reasons always had dogs in the mid-30' to mid-40's...recently built one for an AB guy with a male about $120 and a female about 90....same basic mill but a few measurements change with the heavier frame....can hand write those in for those who have larger dogs....in time i should convert the plans to the heavier mill so one set covers them all...just not enough hours in the day.....US1

    I took a non motorize human tread mill an converted it into a carpet mill. I made a frame out of wood that I use for my E-mill and carpet mill. I got the non motorized of craigslist.

    this is a mill my son built (everything but the rollers)....he had carpentry as an elective and this was his final....missed on a couple of corners and angles but the mill works just fine...turns smooth and true....US1

    thanks. he was 15 at the time....he missed on a couple angles but other than that it went together rather well...take away the material costs (that i paid for) and the rest was his...about $125....guy was coming last weekend..first on Saturday and then on Sunday...never showed...I told my boy, "welcome to the dog game'....US1

    i like the blue mill also...i would guess the sliding surface has to be really smooth....the belt looks like conveyor type material...but not sure...search for Mr. Bulldog mills....his looks similar belt-wise....US1

    It looks like the belt that's on the 1 I made out of the non moterized mill made for humans. It's made out vinyl. Its just like he 1 on my e-mill.

    Call Material Flow Conveyors. They can get all the different types of belting you will ever need.

    Hard to say. I thought maybe its a thin rug upside down with the use of graphite. Like the ones you see in hospitals....Vets. Commercial i guess.

    i was thinking of getting the super think office or classroom carpet, the conveyor belt, keep em the same size and length and stitching em together somehow, so the bottom of the carpet hits the linoleum and the dogs feet hits the conveyor.......if that makes any sense lol

    check out your local Lowe's...look for runner carpet...it is 27" wide...this works really well if flipped upside down allowing the walking surface to be the sliding surface...years ago this style carpet had a thicker backing and worked much better...then it was 'cheapened' thus making it less durable....recently i made one and double layered the carpet...the first mill i posted (with the brindle bitch) is single layer...the second video (red/red nose bitch) is double layered....it will allow all out running as well but with a little more work....next week i am going to experiment with using velcro to attach the top belt....where i can have the benefits of the free-er first mill...and the load of the second mill...all on the same mill if that makes sense...
