So as I was listening to the radio this morning as I always do on my way to work there was an interesting story of a new law In jersey. You can not travel or drive on the roads here with your dog unless its crated or has a seatbelt on. The ticket for first offense is $250 second offense is $1000 and possibly 6 months in jail. Living here is becoming worse and worse. These guys just sit around and think shit up and make them l:mad:aws. Before you know it its gonna be a felony if you spit on the sidewalk.

  2. Have lived in Jersey most of my life. It has its faults. This is not one of them.

It probally has to do with them becoming a projectile and causing more accidents.

  4. I really don't want anyone texting while driving. Don't want anyone drinking while driving. Don't want anyone getting off, while driving. Don't want anyone eating while driving. Don't want anyone playing with fluffy while driving. Not a big fan of laws, police or establishment. Hate stupidity though.

I agree with you. My only problem with this is the fine and possible imprisonment. This state is already bad enough with all of these crazy laws that we already have. When will we as citizens say enough is enough. Let us live in peace without big brother telling us what we can and cant do. Example. I was sitting pulled over the other day reading emails and returning calls. Sitting in my work truck and a cop pulls over and asks me what im doing. I told him and it didnt end there he gets out runs my id has another cop come as back up and I got grilled with a ton of questions. Its out of hand.

  6. Not saying the Storm Trooper Mentality does not exist. You have to remember, in NJ, it is a privilege to drive. It is not a right. I hate the whole system. No lie. As far as the dog thing, it just makes sense. There are to many idiots out there that do stupid shit.

I really don't see this being strictly enforced. I see it being a law that everyone breaks. Just like the cell phone thing. I don't see a lot of tickets going out for this. As most cops are glued to there's, it would make sense.

Absolutely, everytime I see a cop there on there damn cell phone while driving but quick to, pull people over if they see them in it.

Your right driving here or anywhere else is not a right and people need to understand there cars or trucks can easily become weapons. I do not drive and text, I dont drink and drive. I work on the task at hand, which is handling my automobile.

  8. I think the laws created by government are for your own protection and good living. We should obey the law without any hesitation.

It damn sure is a fault, wake up! It's more government, just one step further away from where we should be goin! To the opening post, there was a guy in my town locked up for spitting on the side walk! Also when they let you out of the jail if you don't have a ride and try to walk home they arrest you on the spot. Is this somewhere you want to live?

WOW, They are created so the government has more power over you and to make back the money you earned. Nothing more!

You're obviously a sheeple, naive, or misguided. Like FrozenEli wrote it's about power, and politicians thinking they know what's best for you. More often than not, these same politicians are the worst at following the laws they implement on the rest of us.
