making my own break sticks..

okay I started one out of a hammer handle here are the pics, let me know if it could be improved anywhere..

here is it after I took the bench grinder to it


then I used some sand paper to clean it up and round the point a little bit

 

LMAO looks like a dildo but it will work

 

hahaha thats what I thought too! I am working on slimming it at the point so it will fit in the mouth better. I also plan on putting some grip tape on it when it gets shaped right. I will post up new pics when I get it shaped right.

Bro, I used an axe handle made hickory.

put the grip tape on them all that is left is drilling a hole for the strap and they are done

 

Khanfueshus says stick should be a little longer. But for Chihuahua its perfect LOL.

 

how long should it be? the first one was short so I made a longer one..

 

Khanfueshus says long enough so that the stick can go right through dogs mouth close to the back molars and still have at least one inch left on either side for some play.

 

so about a foot, foot and a half long? thats a long ass hammer handle lol. If I can find a long one like that I will make it. thanks for the input.

 

Khanfueshus say usually around 10-12inches depending on size of dog.
