Besides raw food. Just curious if someone would benefit more from canned food vs a dry kibble. Like the evo herring formula or taste of the wild dry vs wet. And has anyone had good conditioning results from these two and not just raw?

I was actually wondering something similar. I have a dog with allergy issues, and I don't want to go raw, and I was contemplating going canned. I've only actually ever used canned food as a treat, mixing a spoonful in with their kibble. If this Acana food doesn't work with her, I might have to take the plunge and see how it works! lol

  3. We feed raw. But if you dont want to go all out raw.Google honest kitchen. Its a raw food, that you just add warm water to it.We use it when we go to weekend shows and cant take raw with use due to know way to keep it from getting warm.

I have used this before and it is excellent. It is also good for people just starting out at RAW that want to make sure that the diet stays balanced, it's a nice little helper. They have meat based formulas and veggie based ones that you can add with your RAW meals.

i think if your dog has allergy issues raw would be perfect ! some inbred ,linebred dogs dont take to kindly to canned , they may be a little sensetive to the additives (crap ) whats involved . i know in england it costs around £80 for an allergy test , but it may be worth it in the long run ! only a thought atb j

i really like the look's of that grandma lucy's. I want to go raw but i'm not comfortable yet and i think that would be a good way for me to start to change over untill i do get comfortable. That almost looks good enough to stick with though! lol.

  9. yes honest kitchen is good stuff.Once you start with feeding raw its very easy.Hell its less expensive then feeding kibble.

with the honest kitchen one, would you prefer the turkey with less protien and more fat, or the white fish with more protein and less fat? cause i heard fat is good, gives them more energy and what not than carbs and protein. Thanks.

  11. I like to rotate them. One month with a different one.
