Rappers and their dogs

Was talking to some of my none-dog related friends this weekend and they were trying to get me to explain the whole APBT American Bully confusion thing (it started when they were surprised when I told them Cesars Pitbull Daddy wasnt an APBT) as most people not in the know see an American Bully and assume its a APBT, then see a true APBT and say "huh thats a skinny Pitbull!!"
Ignorant yes but understandable, especially here where they are all banned dogs.

So anyway the conversation turned to rappers as surely they all owned real Pitbulls!!? Some probably do I said, but most keep Bully Pits or American Bullys.
I thought this was interesting as music videos are often the only place my friends will see pitbulls (or not pitbulls depending on the video lol)

Sadly I couldnt name any of the rappers who kept APBTs, although I know for sure Big Boi from Outkast breeds American Bullys, he is one I know of, and yes they are disgusting.

So please enlighten me. Which rappers have got what dogs??

 

I don't listen to rap so I can't help you but I know allot of them had some. I think DMX some dogs.

Don't really know about the racism but these rappers don't exactly portray the APBT in a favorable context.

Rap is the cess pool for the ears! It's a disgrace to even call that crap music. I'd rather take a Mike Tyson left hook to the side of my head than listen to that garbage! It has nothing to do with race either. I dig all kind of music....yes MUSIC!!

 

jus bc you cant relate or appreciate something doesnt make it trash. people feel the same way about your dogs. some use them to portray an image but sometimes that image is symbolic to the song.

Dmx had Tom Garner's Bolo in one of his music videos..tell me how that happened?.I dont see it as boosting his bad ass image. And then again i see alot of people that do think pitbulls make you a bad ass..Lol.

 

Dog in the video looks more scared then aggressive, either way I love watching dogs face off. Interesting displays.
As for the topic, I don't see many fat bullies in rap videos as much as bulldogs or generic pit bulls.
