Hi guys I know ive read good/bad things about RPMillmaker on here including him not sending mills after receiving payments etc. But wanted to know peoples opinions now most of these threads were years ago and seeing as he is still in business it can't be all bad. So if anyone has experience with him please enlighten me!

I just mailed him the other day about a Slatmill, he was quick to get back to me and had a good clear response.

If I was to get a mill, I think i'd go with him.

He corresponds quickly with me aswell, but I'm weary to send him my hard earned money when people on here have made the comment that they have not received their mills in a timely manner. Like I said these claims are old I think and the man might have stepped up his game and doing a better job now. Getting a mill from him would be quite a bit cheaper then a gambler even with shipping I think and so I'm trying to do my research before I decide between the two mills.

the same time those posts were made 3-4 years ago on here, there were also people who did receive their product in a timely manner and were generally happy with the quality. some still might lurk or post here, maybe they will pm you.

i talked to two guys on here who lived along different ends of the US and both were happy with their mill and overall quality.

like you said, if he's still in business he must not be all bad.

but consider your shipping and time spent waiting, you might be better investing in something like this -

i've seen the guy post here, check him out. i've heard very good things about his mills.

Yea I am looking into both millmakers currently, even including shipping the rpmillmaker will be a bit cheaper, but leaning a bit towards the dog trotter currently ive heard nothing but good things about him.

Get a dogtrotter american made mill. Quality made mills that will outlast the dogs using them in most cases.

Few points need to be made here. Firstly DO NOT under any circumstances
compare the two mills mentioned here. Money aside, the dogtrotter is way
more advanced, smoother, nicer looking and more importantly, has a track
record of at least 25 years.

Onto rp millmaker. He has good mills and they run great, although maybe
the quality is a little rough. However, you can condition your dogs without
Any issues and its a great economical mill. Shipping cheaper due to flat
    pack design.

As for customers not being sent mills. If that is the case rp has a lot of questions
to answer. Equally, those that have their mills sent have a duty to make this
Clear so other buyers can have some piece of mind, and those that have
their disputes settled should make that clear aswell.

I get the feeling RPMillmaker probably would send me the mill but time is a factor he was willing to give me references of satisfied customers and such, but like you say for a couple hundred extra bucks I could get a dog trotter, which is designed to outlast my dog if maintained.

I said it a while back, and i'll say it again. The guy has fucked people on there mills.I know one of them.Save your money and get a dogtrotter. At least you know you'll get what you pay for.RP is just a theif riding off the real millmaker's name.

Even if you do get your mill, the fact that even after shipping it's a little cheaper shouldn't come into it if the Dogtrotter is 10 times better. I got a Dogtrotter a few mths ago and I'm 100% happy with it.

I just purchase one and the entire transaction went fine. From day one about finding out about his mills his reply was on point and whatever price he quote it was legit. I heard a few negative reply base on different people experience. But for me, we kept in contact with each other and my experience was great. I received the mill within one(1) week because of where he is located. The only additional I had to pay was the clearing of the mill thru US Customs. By the way, he was upfront to let me know that I will have to pay a small fee due to Customs. The Shipping company played a major part in making the final phase of this transaction a breeze. I hope this will clear up any prejudice one may have with the RP Millmaker.

if you want a hard pulling mill and if your conditioning for a comformation show go for the dogtrotter if your dogman preparing your dog for a show then go for the rpmill...

Can you elaborate on this a little? What is your reasoning to say each is more suited to different tasks? There is someone in NZ I could get a RPmillmaker from but I wouln't trust him to sit the right way on a toilet so I am inclined to search for alternatives.

well if your preparing your dog for a comformation show it does not matter if the mill is hard pulling your only trying to make the dog look good with muscle definition while losing some fat and there has been some reports of the doggtrotter bearly completing one full turn when first bought if your preparing your to contest him you are trying to build his wind...

    i agree. i just ordered a dogtrotter

the effects you get from RP are of no use at all to a non fighting dog.

but a dog can still run at full speed on a trotter correct?
i know rotations are important but a dog can only run so fast and i have seen plenty of them run at a full sprint on trotters.

"Some dogs have been clocked at 40 MPH on the Dog Trotter!"

Is stated on their website. RP is only a few mph higher, i think they state 45

I think thats just fine to train wind ;) I've heard RP creates bigger long capacity then DT
