I am allways amused how people who dont live in Australia tell us what our laws are.
There are places here where its perfectly legal to own breed and sell APBT if you please.The APBT is banned for importation into the country along with a few other breeds.Every state and territory has different restrictions but they are not "ilegal" in many parts of the country while others have stricter requirments on containment ect, ie i have to have a minimum 6ft fence with containment for the dogs , all entry and exit points must be padlocked, and the dogs need to be muzzled in public. It costs about fifty bucks to register your dog of other breeds, where as apbt is well over 300$ per year.
So yes there is restrictions but no they are not totally ilegal.
I am not sure whats funnier, the fact that people think we drink fosters or the fact they themselves actually drink it.
Even funnier that as an aussie, i couldnt drink a fosters even if i wanted too, try finding ANY in our country at all.
i would bet the only place to buy that "Aussie beer" in Australia would be at a Pommie food shop, they seem to drink it.

hahaha i have never seen it.. I live in a outback rural town pretty much an aboriginal comunity all the other comunitys up here are alcahol free zones due to the black fellas not handling their grog (bit like myself) so we get all the drunks move in here and i have never seen a fosters can on the ground hahaha they drink xxxx gold here and bundy rum on pension day hahaha we don't have 1000 people in town yet keep 3 pubs open full time proper drunken town but that leaves more pigs for me i guess.....Every day for half a day they have 2 people employed to walk around picking up beer cans...

 

I live next door to a HUGE oil refinery. This is the epitome of a drunken town LOL! One cool thing living here is I've met and worked w/contractors from all over the world. But the bars can get pretty fuck'n hairy w/all the home-sick, drunk, pissed off contractors. I don't go up town anymore. Can't take the hangovers and beatings or hand'em out like I could in my 20's/early 30's.

 

I'm still in my early 30's got a few beatings left in me yet hahaha...

Reckon we'd give your town a run for it's money in regards to % of drunken people atleast most yours would work for a living...
